Jiu Lu Fei Xiang killing it with all these drama releases!! One of my favorite novels from her. Back from the Brink just released. Orchid was a huge hit last year. And my ultimate fave Zhao Yao a few years ago. She has such good stories.
Wow... all these ppl commenting hate for Liu Jin Feng, y'all are sick and probably not even as good looking as her yourself! Look in the mirror! She is not bad looking. I swear the hair and makeup is used to exaggerate her to be less attractive. She isn't an ethereal beauty like the standard, but she is pretty, adorable, and acting in huge C-Dramas hugging and kissing your idol! People are so mean when an actress isn't the beauty standard makes me want to support them even more. She LITERALLY matches the description of the FL for the C-Drama. For those hating on her: You're just mad if it's not a really pretty girl kissing your idol, it should be you, but it will never be you.
Yaaas, my favorite author Jiu Lu Fei Xiang has amazing stories and are perfect for the screen! Cang Lan Jue is currently in production, after her Ostentatious Zhao Yao being adapted into The Legends. Accompanying the Phoenix is also one of her popular works that I think can do well as a drama.
Well, whatever people have to say, I'm still enjoying this drama. Some of the most well-loved drama failed to be inspiring to me, I guess this is just the same. The "love" feels forced? Last I checked, it was forced to begin with. Dong Kyung is literally forcing love so that she can utilize a loophole with the wish. To me, the second couple is the basic one since they're just dealing with a first love/first kiss storyline. I'm not sure how I feel about PBY's take of Dong Kyung, she seems ok for now. SIG has always played tortured/conflicted roles well, so I'm enjoying him so far.
I'm sick of the so called #MeToo movement and cancel "culture" that destroy lives and careers over baseless and…
The Me Too movement is important for many silenced victims to feel empowered and face the pain/harm inflicted onto them from past and current perpetrators. I mean are we going to say that about BLM? How can you stop humans from forming their own thoughts and biases? There's no evidence but a victim's word, some people will believe the victims adamantly, some will say alleged preparator is not like that, some will stay silent and judge from whatever evidence is brought forth. I dislike "cancel culture" as it can be heavily toxic and depressing. However, it is problematic to smear the Me Too movement as something "that destroy lives and careers over baseless and unverifiable accusations." The movement has propelled the condemnation of people like Larry Nassar and Harvey Weinstein, who were found to be guilty by law.
I think some of y'all don't know what victim blaming is. Questioning whether this accusation is true or not, is…
I believe you wanted to issue this statement out to Nanakor and pandamon514. I read their comments, and I do not see them insinuating that Jisoo is already guilty. It could be a possibility. Who knows? I feel for victims because they are often silenced by people with power, no doubt amongst them exist people who lie.
lmao what’s going on in Korea, is it a #meetoobullying?
Why... would you say that? Some people coming out with bullying stories may be fake, stretched for exaggeration, straight up lies. But the REASON more true victims are speaking out is because the platform right now is allowing them courage to face old scars! The power of control and the constant abuse victimization can mess with people's head, make them feel small and helpless, feeling like they can never escape nor can anyone ever help them. This is just one of the reasons why some people never sought help. I feel it is unfair to ridicule them all, pointing fingers at them that they are just trying to ruin careers. The Me Too movement was just the same, such as BLM too. More stories are uncovered and shared, so that we can change for the better. They don't have to lose their careers if they are guilty, they just have to acknowledge the harm done and vow to do better.
But what about dropping drama you DO enjoy? Am I the only one? When I do enjoy a drama, sometimes I drop for various reasons (got busy, have to wait for new episodes) and then I never return to it. Maybe this means I lost a connection to the drama and the feelings of entertainment are no longer there or I just can't bear to witness the end. I've done this with many dramas I enjoyed. Maybe I'm just weird. I'm a weirdo - Jughead.
i can't believe the rating drop to below 8, this drama is not perfect or super mindblowing but this deserves at…
I was surprised too! It's not even finished airing and people already gave it bad ratings. I like it so far. It's not great but Zhao Liying is amazing.
Love is Sweet is fantastic :)The OST is good too :)
It's really hard to reason and be civil at times like this when they're emotionally charged. It's okay. I like BL and I know she has toxic fans too and other people will retaliate at her fans no matter what (even if you're not doing anything). I just let them argue amongst each other haha.
I haven't seen anyone bashing bailu, just bashing wu jinyan and xukai mostly, and turning bailu into a victim…
I'm not the biggest fan of historical palace dramas, which is why I have not seen Yanxi Palace. I prefer fantasy, Xianxia, etc. I might watch Wu Jinyan if she is in a drama like that!
Fun article! Many of us viewers always have thoughts about what we'd do if we were the characters haha.
