At the very least, she should have contacted him back and told him that she was safe, with the police and the police would keep her safe as well as to not get involved and that she would explain everything later. He could have been told to keep out of sight as well. She then could have given him the police officer's number and asked him to contact them. Then the police could have assured him that they would keep her safe and to not get involved.

Knowing that the police were involved would have kept him from reacting so recklessly and assured him at least somewhat that she was safe. He wouldn't have gone against Sol's decision especially if he knew it was supported by the police and that it was a police operation.

Keeping him ignorant of what is going on would lead to things going wrong, which is what happened. It is because he didn't know that the police were involved and that Sol had made a plan with the police that he called the police to report her missing.

I cosign everything you said here, especially this: "I understand why they like each other because, in the end, they're two broken people who finally got some hope thanks to the other one" I am a huge simp for broken people who are puzzle pieces who only fit each other, it's my absolute favorite trope and I'm getting fed so well here. It's a trope I see more in Japanese dramas than Kdramas so it's cool to see a high budget production that only Korea can put out that also touches on these themes.

I don't think it's fair to classify every person who criticizes a show as a 'hater'. There's nothing wrong with discussing both the negative and positive aspects of a show. It is what makes the entire discussion fun and interesting.

I agree that Sol had a pretty good plan to deal with the taxi driver but I don't agree that she did everything right. I am of the opinion that she should have let Sunjae know about it especially when she realised he had found out that she had lied to him on the train and was worried about her.

The reason I have this opinion is because Sunjae did try to call her numerous times and even messaged her asking her where she was. To me this indicates, he was trying to find her. He even begged her to call him back. All she had to do was to call him back and let him know that she was okay and what was going on. But she didn't respond to any of his phone calls or his messages. He was probably panicking thinking that something had happened to her and that's why she wasn't responding to any of his phone calls or messages. He only called the police after he arrived at Danpori and after he hadn't heard back from her at all. This is the only thing she did wrong, not contacting him when she could see that he was extremely worried about her.

Let me ask you this, if you were in Sunjae's situation and you couldn't get into contact with your loved one because their phone was turned off and if your loved one wasn't responding to your phone calls or your messages especially when you were asking them to contact you back, wouldn't you start thinking something had happened to them? Wouldn't you call the police as well worried about their safety?

The only thing I agree with you is that he should have called the police when he realised it was the taxi driver he ran into in the alley instead of chasing after him. It was stupid of him to chase after the taxi driver on his own considering he knew how dangerous the taxi driver was.

In my opinion, they both made mistakes and that is why the plan failed.

I guess I've watched too many kdramas because these repetitive storylines are making my eyes roll. oh look, the FL is tricking her bf away to "protect" him. now she's erasing herself from his life to "protect" him. God forbid they work together to take down 1 guy. 🙄🙄🙄

You know what I got from the reset timeline is no matter how much Sol tried to not get Sunjae involved, it won't changed fate. Made me think that, instead of trying to save him by sacrificing herself or the other way around, they should work together to change their fate? Bcs her last plan would've worked if she didn't keep Sunjae in the dark and jeopardize the plan by calling 112....if he knows the plan, he could hop on to detective kim's car and follow Sol behind to keep her safe instead of unknowingly disrupted her plan thus in result killing him. The only way is to face it TOGETHER 😭

Anyway, I'm tired of FL's dumbassery, she never learns, flailing around aimlessly. I only hope they won't end with a "it was all a dream" and reset it back to school days, or worse, stay strangers.
