can i watch this without watching the other cp’s story? is their story still understandable?
Their story is complete without the other parts. In the previous parts they exchanged maybe one or two sentences, so there is no prior knowledge that this part builds on. You just won't know who their friends are and how the established couples started dating. However, this won't impact your understanding or your enjoyment of their story at all because the focus is really on them. You can just view the friends as any other random friend group in other series.
Thanks! Yes, I watched the remake which is why I wanted to compare it to the original. It's the same company, so I guess they have removed the old version. But that's just sad.. :(
I have found that the age ratings on this site are not the most reliable.
this is the original TV version which is why it also has the complete “Raikantopini” at the beginning. The warning sign is only yellow not red, so it’s not the highest warning. They have to blurr stuff, so they can air it in an earlier time slot. Alkohol, cigarettes, weapons etc will all get blurred in Thai TV
Fabulous episode... Except one tiny detail. When did his ex left the house ? When Shulang & FX had their confrontation…
Same. In my mind I was picturing Zhen-zhen sitting in the corner eating popcorn watching the whole drama unfold. 😅
I figured that he left at some point, but why would he leave all of a sudden? Then again, it doesn't really matter. Nothing else existed for Shulang and Fan Xiao in that moment, they were fully absorbed in their tragedy.
Turned out to be just 3 days 😅🤣 FXs anguish made it feel much longer than that and had me chuckling 😅SY…
Also with the whole thing of Shulang taking annual leave and not having been to the office for a while, I was sure it was at least a couple of weeks. Was laughing out loud when they said 3 days. 😅🤣
Love the Leon reference. Okay, this will definitely show my age.Leon: The Professional (1994) was a film about…
The app "Strawberry" through which they meet isn't a dating app. It's a neighborhood marketplace app where people in the same area can exchange goods, services and information.
"Strawberry" is a fictional app that resembles the real app "Karrot". Series often avoid real brand names to avoid issues, and instead chose a fictional name that would still be recognized easily.
The "Strawberry" app also plays a major role in the BL "Sweetheart Service" that was released earlier this year.
Randomly found it on Calender, why there's no comment for this one???
It's not airing yet. They only released the first episode some weeks ago as a kind of teaser but the rest of the episodes are not yet available. So there is not so much to talk about yet.
Yeah if it was meant to be showing any kind of love from the crown prince I am not seeing it at all. Feels like…
Agreed. Now that CP has died, I hope Hyo Ying can heal and move on and hopefully find happiness with someone who is actually kind to him. And we all know who that could be ;-)
I am so in love with this show. It better have a happy ending or else. OR ELSE. Biggest threat I have right now…
My guess is, it will be mixed. I don’t see a redemption arc for the Crown Prince happening and it’s sad because the Sixth Prince just wants to have a good relationship with his brother. I assume that he’ll die eventually.
But there is no way I’m accepting anything else than a happy ending for our main couple! I’ll be all OR ELSE together with you 😆
I like the doctor with HY because the crown prince is a terrible, abusive character
I think he regrets sending the guard away and is jealous of the sixth prince who now has him by his side. He’s never learned to show his love in a healthy way and maybe he doesn’t even recognize it for what it is. The only way he knows how to deal with his jealousy is cruelty.
I’m guessing this “love” story won’t have a happy ending. The crown prince might realize his mistakes at some point but it’ll be too late. Also, I doubt he survives…
The promotions seem to position the crown prince and the guard as a couple, but after seeing all this, there is no way that is actually happening, is there? The crown prince just seems cruel through and through with no compassion left in him - let alone the capability to love. If anything, the guard has a one sided crush.
Seriously, even if he saved his life 17 years ago, it doesn’t excuse all the constant abuse. The prince is so stupid, too. Why be cruel to the people who are the most loyal to you? Why mock him by handing him an empty piece of paper with the “antidote”. All the phyiscal and mental abuse is just too much.
They could, of course, spin this into the prince showing his jealousy in a very twisted way. He was the one to send the guard away to spy on his brother and now he regrets not having him by his side and is jealous af. But, man, that would be one hell of a tocix way to show love.
can someone tell me the reason for low rating I'm planning to watch this
Maybe because the first episode throws you right into the action with a lot of characters introduced all at once, flashbacks and many things going on. I could understand that some people might feel overwhelmed and might drop it. But after the first episode the story and the characters are actually quite clear and it gets better and better. I was still a bit on the fence for the first few episodes but by now I’m very much in love with the series.
You should appreciate historic dramas, though. The genre is not for everyone I guess.
I believe that this is the origin story of the Luminous Solution. The Luminous Solution is about some people that stumble upon a magical cafe that grants wishes - at a price. They never explain the origin of the cafe but there are a few hints about the original cafe owner. This seems to be his story.
I haven’t yet watched the first episode of this one but I expect that the stories are largely independent from each other.

I was wondering how the old neighbor knew everything about Shulang's whereabouts. But if you never close the door, everybody will know everything. 😅
