I have a huge issue with the premise of this drama. Where I come from, it is absolutely illegal to date or have a personal relationship with your patient. Practitioners lose their license if they have any romantic relationship with a patient unless it's been 10+ years or something after not having a patient-doctor relationship. The same goes for traditional chinese medicine practitioners. Is this not the case is China? Can someone tell me because I like ZLH and would like to watch this but it's a bit disturbing. Sorry I know this is not a popular comment as it seems this drama is well received.

In the epilogue of the drama, he makes his own handgun and shoots himself in the head :( :( :( :( Ran Ran I think knew because he was in so much pain. Every month he had to go to the hospital and in the epilogue, written by his son, he writes how he remembers his father's health being very poor. At the end, he even forgot who he was. He only came back to reality around Ran Ran. Their love was so palpable and so when he died, Ran Ran thanked him for all his hard work and being with her for 10ish years, helping her raise their two children. He was suffering a lot but their love helped him get through 10 years but he was starting to lose his mind and he really couldn't tell reality from the past so he could hold longer no longer.

I really like the FL's acting! I only saw her once as a side character and wasn't sure how she'd do as a FL but she has exceeded all my expectations. The script is also very beautifully and thoughtfully written. I really enjoy all the dialogues between the characters.

Can I say the actor, Quan Yi Lun who is Rong Xian in the drama is AMAZING. His acting is superb. I noticed him in Blossom and I think his acting is better than the ML and SML. I look forward to more projects from him and hope he can get SML and ML roles soon. He has huge potential imo.

I have watched almost all of ZLS's dramas and I really liked her because she was so bubbly and humorous, and she didn't seem to take things too seriously, or so it seemed. Since LLTG, I noticed her dramatic weight loss, and the changes to her image. I thought maybe she was just maturing, and trying to get out of that cutesy stage. I didn't really like the transformation, and it felt like her agency was trying to transform her more into a sexy model which I never felt suited her image. She always had this super cute, innocent vibe but her whole image took a dramatic turn. It's such a stark contrast to when she started acting, and I wondered if this was all forced by her agency? If this whole transformation was against her will in some way, I feel even more sorry for her. She looks anorexic, the poor girl. Some of these agencies really treat their artists like puppets and force them into probably doing a lot of stuff they aren't comfortable with, or they want them to have a certain image. I read somewhere that the same is happening with Dilaraba who also had to lose a tonne of weight as she was criticized as being fat. I'm not sure if it's fact, but even Zhou Ye has been instructed by her agency to not smile to give off a more of a b*$%tchy vibe. If this is all fact, it's so sad because these artists are not allowed the freedom to stay true to themselves and be authentic. After a while, it must eat away at you. No wonder many develop depression. These are all just my speculations but I pray she gets better and this can help change the industry to put less pressure on artists. It's really scary the amount of criticism they receive from fans, and how little they get to eat. I'm glad in North America, the standards are so much more different. These artists all have to be like 80-90lb, that's how much I weighed when I was 10 years old!!! Recover well, Lusi and I hope you can stand up for yourself and learn to say NO to unreasonable work requests moving forward!

I am blown away by Dou Ming's acting and she is so pretty! I think she can definitely take on the role of a FL one day. I hope she is casted in more dramas....meanwhile, not impressed with her husband at all.

The best kissing scenes and the most heartbreaking scenes were in this drama amongst all the recent dramas I have watched. The acting of the two leads in the last episodes were just wow. LXY must have been a mess filming this. His tears were dropping endlessly, it was heart wrenching to watch. I didn't feel the ending was rushed and I am glad that got married and they had time together but so sad. Like they couldn't let them have a happy ending after all the went through?? C'mon. Especially given the novel had a happy ending. I need to read the last chapters of the book now as therapy.

Why does the 2nd couple have so much screen time??? I think dramas should really start cutting 2nd couple themes, they are so boring and just fillers to me. Every drama they seem to feel they have to put in a second couple, why?

SML is a great actor and he's sizzling in all the scenes. I feel so bad for him because he really loves the FL but the FL thinks he is a bad person.

I'm so impressed with Ren Min's acting, she is like a completely different person from the Long Promise! It's like she has morphed into another person. From her styling, acting, expressions - it's completely different from the Long Promise which is the only other drama that I have watched with her. I like this drama more than All About You which was widely popular. I found AAY had a lot of screen time on side characters and I fastforwarded a lot of it. Here, the scenes with FL and ML are so sweet and they have such great chemistry. FL is so cute and smart. She would be the perfect Huang Rong lol. I really like the actor who is the SML. Hopefully he gets more screen time. I'm really not interested in any of the siblings though.

Funny...us fans need RJL dramas to have a part 2 to mend our broken hearts! He does SE best....

I bawled 3x in the last 6 episodes. My gosh...they really pulled at our heartstrings. I loved the brotherhood between WZ and PY, what amazing character development. It wasn't rushed and everything was so well done. This drama should be at least an 8.5, what's going on with mydramalist? I am going to miss this drama. I think I will have to rewatch it again soon after I level off.... WZ <3<3
