I love Zhou Yu Tong in Young Blood and Jasper is my bias, so excited to see the pairing of these two. Plus Jasper gets to play a professor character, it's oh so exciting.
I personally think the previous profile picture is better. Mydramalist should do it like douban where they can allow users to vote for profile picture based on uploaded pictures by other users. Sigh.
It's going to be English with body language and a bit of Korean. That's the main catch of the show, putting two stars with language barriers in a trip to find their fans.
I thought 321 was terrible at first and he has controlling issues. But like WW said,"she went along with his plan."…
Even though many people are reprimanding 321, I feel WW is equally at fault for not ending it sooner and she herself is already in a "some" relationship with Kehuan despite insisting they're "friends", they're definitely over that line of "friendship" so even though 321 is wrong, she cheats mentally first, that doesn't make her much better. As for 321, I don't want to repeat his long list of flaws
Kehuan even though has brought up breaking up with Zi Yuan several times and even though partially she's at fault for always dodging the issue, he's equally at fault for not being firm until he met WW. I would say all 4 leads are equally flawed, which makes it interesting to watch.
Although I have to say WW did annoy the hell out of me with all these insistence on "friend" and acting like a victim in recent episodes, hence I'm putting this show on hold until everything is complete.
Leads are just good friends.Puff seems to be dating Steven Sun. Tabloids caught them in the beginning of the year…
Well, it's true, she did not deny it this time round, even saying that they're in the process of getting to know each other and the videos are quite clear imo. Doesn't really matter to me actually even though I was a bit miffed that the news broke few days before the premiere, resulting to the promotional news getting tweaked to personal lives and Jasper had to be stuck in between helping those 2....
I don't really care who is Puff dating since celebs have their own personal lives. The drama quality is more important as of now.
To each of their own. I don't know what's good about dragging other dramas or calling others idiot as people have…
Or maybe you could create a few more fake account to lower the rating of this show to show how much you hate this show.
Honestly, it's understandable that people are bugged by the actions of hero of the first 2 episodes because I did commented on that too.
But to comment on others being an idiot is two different things. Judgemental does not equal critique. I never say anything about the cheating plot since it was established since the start and everyone agrees on that.
"Dramas with anti-hero doesn't mean it's bad or condoning the actions" -> I'm referring to the actions in the first 2 episodes.
Maybe the word "open-minded" is much more suitable for your context. Because you dragged the BT1989 out of nowhere first so I'm just returning you the favour by showing what I think is the difference and why are the possible reasons that people rating this show higher than that show. Both are good shows, to each of their own.
Puff seems to be dating Steven Sun. Tabloids caught them in the beginning of the year but they denied it and that time Steven still has a girlfriend, but then they got caught again by tabloids on May 20th (aka equivalent to Chinese Valentine's day) buying groceries together and getting back to Puff's house. Puff didn't deny this time round, she just said through her manager that they're in the process of knowing each other. No outright admit but also no outright denial, when asked during promotions, she just said she hopes to keep her private life out of limelight. Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIHwUh6LaTk

Woah. So much aggressive defensiveness for someone who started rude comments to other viewers of this show. Even dragging own age, I guess age and maturity doesn't grow together.
I actually like 1989 and did not even criticize it, but you're dragging it out of nowhere doesn't make it any good. As I said, to each of their own, thanks for your input anyway
All this talk about one needs a level of maturity to watch this is ludicrous. One needs a level of idiocy to appreciate…
To each of their own. I don't know what's good about dragging other dramas or calling others idiot as people have different views.
No one actually find it's okay about the male lead's actions in the first 2 episodes, even the heroine thinks he's an asshole. But as more episodes go by, there's more complexity in these characters. The hero character is not a good guy, not your conventional upright hero, but asshole characters don't mean it's a bad drama in terms of storytelling.
1989 is good, I enjoyed everything except for the last couple of episodes which drag. But this drama explores much mature theme such as realistic issues like buying a house, like a stale long-term relationship that's only left with responsibility. I don't know how many episodes you're into now but I think viewers have choices, dramas with anti-hero doesn't mean it's bad or condoning the actions. It's part of storytelling.
The funniest moment in 3 has to be when Chu Kehuan gets upset that their one night stand is transactional and…
He knows it's a transaction, he's mad because she's just like Gao Ziyuan, thinking that sacrifice is "good for you", her actions reminds him of his suffocating GF and it pains him because it's the "point" that has been hurting him and pressurising him for the past. So he blew up because "he thought" she's not like his GF, but turns out similar...

I wish her best of luck.
