I'm also not a fan of his, nor an anti. Generally, i think his acting is ok, and I'm not impressed by his appearance. So i'm speaking from a place of someone who's not invested in his career in any way.
I thank god every other day that i grew up at a time before social media captured, immortalised and broadcast all our mistakes for the world to see. I'm not the same person i was 5 years ago, and 5 years ago i wasn't the same person i was 5 years before that. I used to have some pretty sheltered thinking as a teen, and it took life-experience to round me out as a human being.
Now, i dont know him or what he's like as a person, but young people say and do unwise things, that's a fact. Labelling someone for life for things they've said when they were young and not fully developed is pretty harsh, as it allows no room for the idea that people can change or mature with time. I guess it comes down to whether you believe people can change?

I enjoyed this eps more than the last it think (from the little i remember of the last eps 😂). There seemed to be less of the obnoxiousness of some of the side characters, or maybe i've grown accustomed to them?
Glad they're moving the story along to the Lomfon/Tai/Phat triangle. I like the main couple, but i want to see why Lomfon's so set on Tai when it appears the've only jst met. The trailer was suggestive, but they hvnt sprinkled in much evidence of that yet. The perception of hearing loss=soulmates is a good concept, so it would be good if they can explore more of the complications this can lead to.

haha, that's true and hadnt even twigged it. I put it down to the BL writers not wanting to alienate the audience this soon by having the ML fantasize about another guy right away. Not very romantic 😅
But yeah, tame sexual fantasies about your partner after 10 yrs...😂😂

that was super weird, at first i wasnt sure whether they were going for a cheating/cruising plotline but then he pulled out a joint or whatever it was. But the way Thana reacted from one puff then made me think it wasnt weed but something stronger, or magical, a la coffee shop.
i was probably overthinking it at that point, but the whole vibe of the show was funky and the music was so dramatic 😂😅

Yeah, it wouldnt have killed him to take a few bites of toast and a forkful of eggs. He's gotta be pretty deep in his own head or just really not into his bf anymore

Ditto, i wasnt sure either and i couldnt tell if it was bc of the translation. First thought was that it was Phat, but then i thought lomfon, but they'd only jst met as well in the bookstore.
So then i gave up and hoped they'd clarify in the future 😂

Don't forget we also learned the doctor bf seems to want to spend more time with the elderly nurse than talk to his bf.
And why was the teacher so mad that the popsicle house's roof detached that he wanted him to start again, and not just glue it back on? Was it cos it looked so much worse than all his friends' projects? None of them made it out of popsicle sticks...

Well, it looks like they've been together a while and chronic overwork/exhaustion does kill your libido. So if anything, that's one of the more realistic things they've shown in this drama.

The only thing i can add is that one of the things the weird barista is doing well is that she's making ME feel uncomfortable. Every time she snapped with a bit too much hostility about the menu items, it jst made me think, Calm down lady, sheesh.

I've only seen the ML actors in 1 or 2 other shows, but they're pretty different to those past characters so it's been interesting to watch.
Pisaeng's bewildered facial reactions to Botkawee's chaotic energy has been pretty funny. I hope it takes Botkawee's character a couple more eps to realise it's not a dream, cos i'm enjoying how uninhibited he is rn.

I wish this was longer than 8 episodes, I'm really enjoying it. It feels a bit more like slice of life to me than usual BL. Good job to the actors

I agree they need to kiss, but I'm not sure that I need to see lips touching, if you know what I mean? As in, the angle kiss was ok in itself (for me), it won't ruin my experience. I do love seeing a great kiss, and they can heighten my enjoyment of the show, but seeing a truly dud and passionless kiss does tend to cool my interest in a CP

omg, me too! Yoo jae taking the box and chucking it in the bin in front of him surprised me and had me exclaiming "No, why?!" Not what I was expecting him to do when he asked for it 🥲

I agree completely, I really love the tension between them, and In Sung is a pleasure to watch.
Personally, I don't mind not seeing the kiss if the alternative is that it's going to be poorly executed. I have a good imagination and the rest of the interactions have great chemistry☺️
Question though, I must have missed it, but how did you know it's been 5 months?
