-FL has several victims' blood on her hands. She could have saved the cafe waitress in the field by asking the…
totally agree π― i laughed a lot throughout, so i would rate the comedy aspect and the small-town interactions highly, but the writing regarding the murders made little sense. As you said, many of the character's actions did not feel believable or what normal ppl would do in those circumstances. So i was left wondering, how am i supposed to feel about this character? Am i meant to think they're not thinking clearly or an idiot or reckless? Or is it jst bad writing? Overall, i enjoyed it but i dont think i'd rewatch it, and I'd probably rec it to someone for the comedy
Look...it's a really good, solid bromance. I'm not complaining. I'm just disappointed. Two guys with great hair,…
I think if they sold it as a bromance i may have been able to continue it. Maybe! since it doesnt solve the plot problems. tbh, i dont see repulsion in Chimon or his character, i think he's jst not fully comfortable with skinship in general. As a person who likes their own space, i totally get that, but he probably needs to pick his roles a bit better. I like his acting in general, but i jst dont feel him as a romantic male lead when romance is the focus of the story. It was the same in NLMG, i didnt feel anything for his and perth's pairing there either and i skip them completely on rewatch, but he was good in the more serious bits. Re Perth, he's a good romantic lead, clearly more comfortable protraying intimacy (emotional/physical/etc) so i do look forward to him paired with other actors, whether BL or BG.
yeah, I couldn't even watch yesterday episode because I lost interest. I'm dropping it. Even without intimacy,…
yeah, same, i came to the comments to see if yersterday's ep was any better than the previous two, bc i was teetering on whether to watch this show anymore. Nothing i've read has encouraged me to continue anymore.
The story line of this show is so confusing. I get that Khondiao's family is taking advanatage of Yi's family,…
my take from this ep is that Diao wants to ruin the wedding, but Yi wants to go ahead with it? And that's why Diao is keeping it from him? I dont really understand why he'd need to organise it only to run away at the ceremony, unless it's to publically humiliate the Chen family which may void them from responsibility for it failing to occur? But then , he could jst stand there and say he changed his mind, not need to call in the helicopters. Not sure if it's the translations, but rather wish we're not left guessing at the reasoning and they'd jst tell us, cos all the characters seem to get it π I also thought they were gonna stay together (somewhere), until the final convo when diao said he'd leave Yi on his own. After that i was lost again π€·π½ββοΈ
ok, i'm halfway through ep 12 and i'm getting increasingly frustrated with the FL re not telling the detective anything about assemblyman cha possibly killing her mum, but tells her friend...i dont get it when she keeps meeting him while all depressed about itπ it's also not clear why it took her so long to suspect him at all after she'd seen him in her mum's car on the dock episodes earlier! If i've missed an explanation about why she's kept silent that actually makes sense (considering she's working together with him to catch a killer!) then please someone tell me (no spoilers though!) Is she just absurdly naiive and trusting and so didnt suspect him as a result? ok, but then why not talk now she knows he's shady af? i mean, the assemblyman is basically tormenting her family (with fried chicken!). A fight with your grandpa is not the topic you should be discussing with the detective! π
I don't know whether to feel sad or excited that the end is near
i could prob watch a few more eps tbh, i find them a fun watch! And it would be nice to get some scenes after they've cleared up their misunderstandings. It would be nice to see what their interactions would be like without the weirdness, or maybe it stays weird cos that's their thing? π€·π½ββοΈ
eg in ep3 when do hoon is interacting with the intern at the break room, he kept intentionally breaking their…
yeah, totally agree with everything you said here. Great at the start, but then they had a lot going on in the final two eps and people's actions made less sense, e.g., yoon soo's whole overreaction about dohoon forgetting to eat his lunch (which it was nice to see he later acknowledged was an overreaction) which led to Dohoon saying something hurtful. I feel they let that argument drag on way too long, natural ending should have been at the shoot. Still liked the show though, it was a good watch.
Very very watchable drama! Only slightly frustrated once or twice in the final episodes, but generally it flowed quite well and what people did mostly made sense. I liked the leads, they were both quite lovely. Great binge watch after a long week
im so confused about whats going on ππΌ but remains a good unwind show after traumatizing myself w only friends…
i have not braved only friends yet, i dont think i cn handle watching messy relationships every week. Big cat maulings and fake amnesia? totally ok! Attempted murder of close family? No worries! Cheating with friends? run away!
Tinn had to support his whole family. Diao doesn't have to pay for anything (he is living at Yi's condo free of…
omg, i hdnt even considered if he speaks the language! But he was in england for his studies, so i'm sure he'll be fine. Well, i'm glad you've thrown in some financial possibilities, I completely missed the bit about the scholarship. I had considered that the richer parents probs mean higher salary than poor ol'Tinn, but now you throw in the scholarship it seems even more plausible. Thanks again, it will genuinely help me not go down that rabbit-hole thought-spiral next episode! ππ€£
Daddy Yi is a snack, Boss is the entree & Max is the dessert. ZeeNuNew are there doing their thing at a minimum…
yeah, the starting scene of Diao hanging onto Yi's calf was very reminicent of old bodice ripper romance book covers. The scene also momentarily made me forget that it was actually Yi who was the one who was in need of comforting. I wish they hadnt made Diao such a baby, bc it would have been a perfect opportunity for him to be the strong one for Yi. Instead, it became all about Yi once again having to be the one protecting him, mid-panic attack. Without those moments which show them supporting each other its hard to see what Yi gets out of this relationship π
I'm still finding this easier to watch than cutie pie (which i still havnt finished), but the plot is going around in circles a bit so it's testing me. Today's episode was so slow that it had me once again wondering what Diao actually does all day. He said he couldnt go to work cos he had something to do, but all we saw him do was call his dad and make a list...How is he going to pay for his Switzerland trip? His dad is broke, so is he going on the Chen family's money? Surely the taekwando instructing doesnt pay that well, Tinn in Laws of Attraction was an instructor and he was totally povo. Anyways, i hope they get more ridiculously dramatic in future eps so i'll stop thinking about a fictional characters financial plans

crossing my fingers that it pays off to be an interesting plot line ππ½π€©
jk, the mention of RD caught my eye and now it makes me want to go re-watch it
