The BL XY read would be more understandable as "That Sugary Summer".The sister does not mean "romance novel",…
oooh, thanks for that, very interesting! i might need to watch it again more carefully, i hadnt picked up that he'd left the book out there to be found on purpose to act as bait, i'd assumed it was by accident
yeah, for sure, Way's been abused for a long time, so if anything he did a good job putting off Tony's plan as…
that's not unusual in ppl raised with abuse, it's a survival strategy. I totally agree that of the adopted kids we've seen he seems to be the weakest, so makes sense! so crazy he could have kept it up for 10 years π
As much as Way pisses me off I kind of feel bad for him after this episode. Especially after seeing how Tony's…
yeah, for sure, Way's been abused for a long time, so if anything he did a good job putting off Tony's plan as long as he did. Tony scares me and I'm not a child! yes! we need more of Uncle and Jeff, they're very cute
this was a great EPS though nothing can beat last week's for gut-punching. Really feels like it's starting to wrap up a lot of loose ends for the final two eps, gonna miss this show π I don't mind what happens with day's eyes, I just know it's gonna be a great and happy ending either way. the only reason I want him to see is just to witness mohks fabulous gentle hotness at least once in HD, since he's given him shit about it for so long π
Oh and btw, someone might not know this but in Japanese βThe moon is beautiful, isn't it?β (ζγηΆΊιΊγ§γγ…
I feel like I've seen that in Korean and Chinese dramas too, I wonder if it's a reasonably common love phrase across different Asian countries? either way, it's a lovely sentiment and came to mind when I watched it too π₯°
please donβt hate me, but Iβm liking this version more than the Japanese one
no reason to hate you for that! both have their strengths, and are probably equal for me so far, though taynew have a more natural/easy chemistr which feels less awkward. I think the only bit I really preferred about the JBL above this version (so far) is that they left the female side character happily single and uninterested in marriage, that was a nice touch. Maybe I'm premature, but it looks like she's getting a love interest in this version.
the world doesnt end. They left it a bit ambiguous in the drama, so you can prob read it how you like, but in…
π€£π€£π€£ that would have been jarring! so happy you got a happy ending in your dream! mine are usually so boring and prosaic the world would end and I'd be on the loo at the time π def give it a try, i put it off until recently for the same reason, but then I got spoiled about the ending and that made it easier to watch, and I was so glad I did π
Poor Keen. Like dude is just gone for the worst human being on the planet. I thought Porsche was bad for how he…
I was so sure the one getting his revenge in that pairing was going to be Keen, bc I couldn't figure out what Captain had to complain about?! I thought it was gonna turn it to be Keen taping them, I was so disappointed that he was instead gonna be the one getting screwed over once again by captain π’π
wow, I took a break from the series and binged the last 5eps and I enjoyed it so much! Kind of surprised at the 6.5, it's more interesting/entertaining than some of the others airing right now. Most of the characters are so messed up but I'm still kind of rooting for a lot of them. The mystery still has me engaged and the things ppl do tend to make a kind of sense. Did they dub over first and soongs conversation in the hotel in this last EPS or was my internet laggy? the lips didn't match the Thai that was spoken so I wondered if they had originally spoken in english...?
Honestly, I don't get why this show is so underrated and many commenting this series to be an average one. I was…
yeah, to me it was clear enough that they survived, the hints they threw along the way about Yuma gave me a lot of hope. I'd missed the one about him wishing it would stop raining and then it did though, maybe bc i live in a city where it can be pouring and then suddenly suns's out, so it didnt seem supernatural at all π re Masumi forgiving Ritsu, that ddnt seem OOC to me, it made total sense under the circumstances. I was just glad he waited until Ritsu apologised and showed actual remorse, which he'd never shown before. I imagine that he'd even have easily forgiven Ritsu in their college days if he'd shown similar remorse then, but Ritsu wasn't capable of it at the time. Re not going to the mum, not sure what i would have done, not having had an abusive parent. overall, i really loved this series, i've already rewatched it in the same week!
i put off watching this show for a really long time, i hate end-of-days or cheating, but i really loved this drama by the end, and binged it in not time at all. i really felt for Masumi, and Ritsu was so deeply flawed but honestly so charming i could see how Masumi fell for him, and why he'd want to give him another shot. Despite all the hurt, i would have done the same under the same circumstances. The manga vibes were also pretty strong to me, so the ending didnt really surprise me. All the actors did such a great job, but i probably liked Masumi the best, this was a much better role for Seto than the previous drama i saw him in. The character really went through it, but was such a kind human being. I'm surprised at the 7.5 score, i thought it was better than that, though it's not a terrible score
Is the world really coming to end or is it just a plot device? Please, do tell! I cannot watch apocalypse dramas!
the world doesnt end. They left it a bit ambiguous in the drama, so you can prob read it how you like, but in the manga it doesnt end, and even in the drama they left a possible reason to think it doesnt end
Maybe it's been a while since i watched the japanese version, but so far (to me) this feels beat for beat the same as that one. I do like it, and the actors are doing a good job but i kinda wish there was more variation just to make it more interesting. It's only eps 2 though, so maybe in the later eps they'll incoporate something new to make it their own. The main point of difference so far is that i like the writer friend more in this version, he was super annoying in the japanese version.
wow, this was actually pretty good. I went in with low expectations since it has the kind of plot that normally has me dropping the show by EPS 9 out of boredom, but I actually enjoyed it and finished it. I like zhao lusi, she can have chemistry with a sack of potatoes but CZY was actually a really great match for her, he has a nicely expressive face too. No sack of potatoes here βΊοΈ don't go in expecting anything too complicated, it's basically a journey of her love for him and their journey. Sounds tedious, but they sold it. It did get a little draggy in the final 2-3 EPS, but I forgave it bc they'd lasted so long
