Daddy Yi is a snack, Boss is the entree & Max is the dessert. ZeeNuNew are there doing their thing at a minimum…
yeah, the starting scene of Diao hanging onto Yi's calf was very reminicent of old bodice ripper romance book covers. The scene also momentarily made me forget that it was actually Yi who was the one who was in need of comforting. I wish they hadnt made Diao such a baby, bc it would have been a perfect opportunity for him to be the strong one for Yi. Instead, it became all about Yi once again having to be the one protecting him, mid-panic attack. Without those moments which show them supporting each other its hard to see what Yi gets out of this relationship π
I'm still finding this easier to watch than cutie pie (which i still havnt finished), but the plot is going around in circles a bit so it's testing me. Today's episode was so slow that it had me once again wondering what Diao actually does all day. He said he couldnt go to work cos he had something to do, but all we saw him do was call his dad and make a list...How is he going to pay for his Switzerland trip? His dad is broke, so is he going on the Chen family's money? Surely the taekwando instructing doesnt pay that well, Tinn in Laws of Attraction was an instructor and he was totally povo. Anyways, i hope they get more ridiculously dramatic in future eps so i'll stop thinking about a fictional characters financial plans
yeah, i have to say i agree. The plot feels very thin for 7 eps in, but i wouldnt have noticed if their relationship…
yeah same! I was totally ready for that to show he'd moved on from her, so when her flipped and then flipped again to kiss sailom I was just confused. I started thinking he only wanted to date sailom so that pimfah couldn't get him ππ
Honest opinion as I'm a big Perth fan. I honestly think Perth had a lot more chemistry with Saint that he does…
yeah, i have to say i agree. The plot feels very thin for 7 eps in, but i wouldnt have noticed if their relationship felt believeable and had me engaged.
Kanghan's sudden 180 in the focus of his affections wasnt explained or later addressed. So his actions made no sense and all the lovey-dovey stuff they did in this eps didnt feel earned. It just felt like fan-service and inauthentic. Chemistry is very subjective and the acting is important, but the writing in this show hasnt done them any favours. It was much better written in LBC and NLMG, so you felt the build-up there.
i watched s1 some time ago and Iβm not in the mood to rewatch it so can someone pretty please remind me what…
Not sure if anyone had answered your Q already, but Fiat isnt in this season (S1), but in the 2nd season he falls for Type while Type is treating his injured knee and Fiat stalkerish. Causes drama between our main leads, but he's got his own love interest in his friend (cnt remem his name).
Consider the context for the kiss, to me his surprised expression and frozen reaction fit the scene very well.…
yeah, this is exactly how I read the kiss scene. They're playing high schoolers and it's their first + surprise kiss. Pretty sure I'd have reacted pretty awkwardly at their age if my sometime crush/hater kissed me after having been pissed at me for stealing HIS crush πit would have been a WTF moment, not one filled with passion. Hardly worth crossing off the actor's abilities from this one moment... so I'm a bit surprised at the reaction.I'm not a shipper of actor pairs in general so I'm not invested, nor anti, so I'm coming at it from the point of view of the drama scene.
The rating is a crime against this awesome show! I binged all 5 episodes and I'm obsessed! Sure ep 1 is stupid…
yeah, i'm glad i didnt give up after the 1st episode, bc it became a genuinely sweet show. Hope it stays that way to the end, though i'm worried the recent Yang drama will take it down a ridiculous path
up to eps 5 and i really like the two leads, but my question is, does her mother ever stop being annoying? The whole pushiness about getting a rich boyfriend is super annoying
Just binged the 6 episodes, and it's not as bad as the comments made me fear it was, though i do agree the audio design is pretty amateurish. Some of the time jumps can be a bit confusing and Ji Oh's 180 was a bit sudden as well, but i guess they had to with such a short running time. Overall, it's not a bad show to have in the background; i didnt skip ahead and i like both couples which rarely happens.
There are a lot of disappointed ppl in the comments, but i came in with no expectations and i enjoyed it. There are a lot of loose ends, and they seemed to suggest at possible substories which never went anywhere, but really the main charm for me were the main pairing. i'll admit though, that by the end i was fine with letting everyone go, with happy endings all round (except that 4th intern who deservedly got the can?) and very little fuss. I dont regret watching it and may rewatch bits of it π
One of the funniest lines to me was "I want to be a cow in the Mont Alps in my next life!" and you know, I found the montage of his relationship with Yi so confusing that i didnt blame him
I'm excited for this series, but I can't lie.. the first episode was kind of a mess. I didnt hate it and am still…
Definitely hot, but the way they kept focusing on the assistant made him seem hella shady. If they dont make him a dodgey character in the end, then what was that all about?
Look, maybe it's just me since a lot of people seemed to enjoy it, but I really struggled with this first episode. It was definitely too long with too many unnecessary stilted conversations that could have moved at a more zippy pace or been cut althogether. So maybe it's an issue with editing?? I actually dozed off before the eps ended π Maybe it's one which needs to be binged, or you need to be in a certain mood?
I appreciate how new episodes begin with a repeat of the last scene from the previous episode (even if it steals…
yeah, that lap scene just really struck as extra funny the second time i watched it too. His delivery was so perfect with him appearing to be near tears and horrified by what life his childhood friend had been living πππ
jk, the mention of RD caught my eye and now it makes me want to go re-watch it
