This was really cute. Couple of plot holes, and some stuff appeared out of no where, but I loved it anyways.
Though the female lead still having childhood trauma that isnt resolved even though shes a psycologist.... Not saying psycologist aren't allowed to to have trauma, but shouldn't they first learn hwo to resolve their own problems before resolving other people's? Just wished they focused more on the past lives thing.
Loved the cast and everyone that played the Iron Triangle so far. Can't wait to see who they choose for this adaptation and hope Wu Xie and Zhang Qiling have chemistry~~
Hope the controversies and problems clear up or get solved. I was lucky enough to watch the movie, and let me tell you it's absolutely gorgeous and I really don't want anyone to miss out.

In the novels at least, proper romance wasn't introduced until the later chapters. Early romance is mostly one sided from the female characters towards Qin Lie.
3 episodes in: Almost everything about this is visually stunning. There are some awkward camera angles but other than that visually everything is eye candy, from actors and costumes to CGI and settings. Audio though... the same music and sounds gets repeated, but other dramas have done it before so I'm not so bothered by it yet. Maybe that'll change though since im only 3 episodes in. Acting is pretty decent. I've read the novel so I have an idea as to what the characters are supposed to be like. Though Cheng Xiao is still sometimes a bit stiff, she's still very much watchable. As a novel reader, I have a good idea as to where story is heading, but I feel newcomers might be a bit confused. If you stick to the end though it should be worth it.
They... weren't they both side characters in fighter of destiny? Didn't both Joseph Zeng and Xiao Yu Liang technically make their debut in fighter of destiny?
OKAY it's official. Joseph Zeng and Xiao Yu Liang are officially my favourite Wu Xie/Xiao Ge pair. After I saw those fanservice tiktoks (thanks kings), I can't say anything else.
Absolutely love the cast ! From Ever Night to the Tomb Raider series, at least if all else fails, we know we'll get good acting. <3 The only person I'm slightly concerned about is Yang Chao Yue. I haven't seen any of her works except for Ever Night 2, where her character barely appeared and was basically 2 dimensional, but I'll trust that they casted her for talent like everyone else, and not just a pretty face.
ahhhhhhh~~~~ sucks to say goodbye to Joseph Zeng as Wu Xie, and the rest of the cast that grew on me, like Xiao Yu Liang's Xiao Ge. Absolutely my favourite season so far of the series. From acting to fanservice (thanks directors for the bromance), this was a blast to watch. Can't wait to see the next season and hopefully we get a cast (and chemistry) just as good as this!
Probably one of my go-to pocket picks for when I have nothing to watch. Tugs at your heartstrings, and every character is absolutely loveable.
People would probably have to get used to the monster costumes, but thank god I was a sentai and kamen rider fan so it didn't take long for me. I just wished they would have gone lighter with the monster form, like maybe just use some heavier prosthetics on the actors instead, but I guess the message would and story would not have been as strong.
Zhang Min En (Zhang Ri Shan) stealing scenes once again. Love this season, from cast (Joseph Zeng zsmudgfzmsjhzs) to writing everything has been really enjoyable so far.
