seriously i didn't Notice it was him from KR Zero-one. maybe if he throw some lame punchline again i might notice…
Yea I didn't notice either while watching the series until he got beat up in one of the episode and I was like "hey, he looks kind of familiar". Looked at the cast and saw it was none other than Aruto Hiden xd

When the episode with Shi Guang as a guest comes around, could someone tell me which episode it is? Thanks!

I love his acting. Hopefully he can find a chance to take a lead role someday.

I'm confused because to me, he pretty much time travelled or his brain transmigrated into a body in modern time.…
Yea I would agree. As a cute little kill time drama this series can fulfill, but if anyone even looks a centimeter into plot they'll probably be confused. From what I can understand, the current male lead gets into an accident, then remembers his past life and forgets a lot about his current life which makes him seem crazy? Or something along those lines at this point I'm just speculating.

This series will for sure become one of my guilty pleasures....
It's one of those cases where it knows it has a unique plot to work with, so it doesn't try too hard to stay grounded, yet it's just grounded enough to not have you question everything while watching, but if you just look slightly into the plot, you'll be really confused. (i.e: if my boss all of a sudden thinks he's a prince from an ancient chinese dynasty I would be worried out of my mind, but everyone just seems... a bit too chill with the situation like if it was their normal tuesday.)

I have.... surprisingly not cringed as of yet. Humor does fall flat but haven't cringed yet. Most characters are either cute, quirky or both. I don't hate anyone yet either. Not a usual romcom watcher, yet I'm enjoying this more than I'm willing to admit.
The only thing I'm a bit unclear about as of yet is if the ancient attire is real and the people wear it in the built palace area, or if it's just the male lead's perception we're seeing.

I can guarantee people watching this won't be some revolutionary series. This is not a series you would like due to the genius plot, or amazing acting (acting isn't bad though). This is a series you would enjoy simply because it's cute and there's eye candy.

Edit: Yea it becomes clear in episode 5 where they explicitily mention the change of clothing. It's real and not an illusion type thing.

Title Sweet Home Spoiler
Since you seem to have read the webtoon, is this season's ending like the final ending? Or was there more material…
The webtoon ending was really different from the show ending. What basically happened was Hyun Soo gave in to the monster power to protect his new family (just like the show), but this time it happens on a roof and he's up against a monster that has a lot more weight and muscle, instead of the almost human antagonist we have in the show. He manages to defeat the antagonist with his new form, which looks a lot like a knight in dark armor, but loses control of himself. To protect everyone else, one of the other main characters also give in to monster form, and basically devours Hyun Soo and himself, since his monster form is a giant pile of flesh. Everyone else escapes in shock and there isn't the whole situation of the evil military plot twist ending. Hyun Soo then ends up being alive, and makes his way across the snow to the safe camp (in the show that scene is replaced with Hyun Soo walking in the show towards the military invaders). One of the female main characters calls the officers to open up the gates, and Hyun Soo is back and safe. Characters also died differently in the show compared to the webtoon. The webtoon ending also gave you a small taste of a clear conclusion for most characters, including what happened when the world was once againat piece years later.

Diverged from the webtoon, but I was never a source material sticker anyways.
Absolutely loved it.
Yes CGI was weird at first, but you get used to it after 2 episodes.
Stakes were real, and questions of morality were constantly running while watching. You hate characters at times, yet you can't help but ask would I have done the same in that situation?
Webtoon ending is still better in my opinion, but this one is still good. Last episode was a blast to watch.
I honestly liked this version of Hyun Cha's monster form better too.

That was enjoyable.
I cringed a bit at some parts, but that's mainly cause I'm not a comedy person.
Otherwise it was fun.

Review Psych-Hunter
Totally agree, he is such a talented actor and the show had so much potential. It was still good overall and as…
I really don't see a season 2 possibility for this one. Unlike Ancient Detective or Journey Across The Night, the last episode basically fully revealed to us what was wrong, a good enough history and explanation, and a fix to the problem. There's not much more material to build on unless they introduce new characters.

Yes pop off with the review! Good insight, and pretty much spot on the entire way. I just wished that they gave Neo Hou more chances with his acting, instead of giving him so many "distressed confusion" scenes.

Absolutely agree, but we can't stop ranking inflation from the WYB super fans. Can someone tell me when Chen Ruo…
Oh legend of Chusen is listed as Noble Aspirations on MDL, native name is Qing Yun Zhi I think. Yea, a lot of her dramas aren't worthy of their rankings.

Now that we have seen this behind the scenes don't they dare censor it from the actual thing I swear--

Oh damn you're right I never realized she also had so may super fans. The only drama of hers that I've fully seen without skipping any scenes was Legend of Chusen. Guess the ranking of this would be inflated for quite some time before non-super fans start to trickle in and give their opinions.

Main role ever since Young Blood. Another actor who is fortunate enough to get the roles they deserve.
