looking at the previews, it seems like ep 14 is a good episode to put the drama on hold for a while. ep15 is where the plot will really pick up

Some people want the plot to get moving, some people want more slice of life village life. To me the show is progressing at the perfect pace, but you can't please everyone.

actually 2.5k per day is not that much. it comes out to about $625000 annual base salary pre tax. after tax and deductions take home pay is probably around $300k per year. This is around what a principal engineer makes in Silicon Valley.

what a place to end ep 13. there better not be any interruptions this time

what's the Chinese stereotype about South East Asian? I am Chinese and all I can think of is bigger eyes and darker skin. I don't think it's meant in a demeaning way. I can understand though a western lens it is racist.

ep 12 was so funny seeing Changyu getting jealous. and Qi Min is really giving me the creeps.

on ep 3. i don't think i can continue. the script is just too sad.

get a life, go touch grass

the fact that she was a pain in the arse in POB means she acted her role well. Staying a good girl or isn't up to her, it's up to the script.

Tian Xi Wei appeared in the official cctv chinese new year gala show so i've say she's already made it.

this is not the place to raise these issues.

9.1 on MDL yall, it really is that good.

ikr, I just want they main leads to finish their tangerine candy.

here's a quick list
good:
Yu Qian Qian, Gongsun Yin, Li Huai An(not sure on this one yet), Zhuo Ran, Xie Qi, Xie Wu, 4 idiots who gets beat up by the FL in the first few episodes.
bad:
Fan Da, Guo Da Li, Wei Yan, Wei Xuan, Mrs. Kang, Song Yan

The guy said even if the emperor ordered the ML to marry the grand princess to get him in the family, the ML would reject it. It's all political, there's no love between the grand princess and the ML and the grand princess clearly has someone she already likes.

FL is 18, ML is 21

dude is a sexual predator and human trafficker. deserves death tbh.

the ML didn't get it either.

just be glad it's not one per week.

what's with all these new characters popping up left and right. they need to leave our leads alone. our leads still have lots of tangerine candies to eat.
