looks like the most expensive one too. production quality is top tier. everything from the set and costumes are so beautiful. Just wished they spent more money on CGI. The few CGI shots they have was pretty jarring.

it's true. I originally dropped this drama two years ago because I couldn't stand the ML in the first 4-5 episodes. I decided to give it another shot and now it's my all-time favorites.

just watched the first ep, already know this drama will be a massive hit. High production quality, interesting story and proper actors. Just hope the plot holds up.

Ya I was really rooting for the young couple. But I guess I was stupid to expect any romantic sweetness from a drama like this.

Great script, great acting, but man, is it dark. Seeing all those children being abused makes my blood boil.

if you are just watching for romance then ya it's slow.

this drama is hard to watch with all the betrayals and xiao zhou being so low EQ.

it's not just with FL's father. when she's talking with her friend and when she's talking in the market... it's all in the local dialect. Since I'm streaming from a chinese site without english subs, I have no idea what they are talking about.

I can understand chinese. but there are many scenes that are in a local dialect that's not chinese.

Warning, there are parts of the show that aren't in Chinese.

everyone here have watched the show. if you don't say why "the drama subtly hints that Gen Z people are God" then no one will know what you are talking about.
