haha, I hate to break it to you but the drama itself spoils the middle of the story. this drama starts in the middle with the 1st/2nd episode being somewhere in middle chronologically. You find out that the ML just got out of prison and the FL comes back from overseas with the second ML for a brief visit. Their mutual friend secretly arranged them to meet, and the FL clearly still have feelings for the ML. (This is all in the first episode so talking about it doesn't count as spoilers) Then in the second episode, you get the chronologically start of the story with the first day of college. The ML starts out as a red flag but he changes later. The FL is a green forest character. This drama has the most intense chemistry out all the dramas i've watched so I highly recommend.

I don't get it. Why are people saying the ML is ugly? Like, do they not have eyes?

Just started this so I don't have to wait too long for new eps to release. Looks promising. I hope the later eps keep the same quality. It has really been a great year for C-dramaland. Just have way through the year and so many great hits. Much better then 2024

one of those really have to turn your brain off to watch dramas.

if it's filmed outside of China, it would probably not be labeled as a chinese drama

trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9vdllmktHs&ab_channel=%E8%85%BE%E8%AE%AF%E8%A7%86%E9%A2%91-GettheWeTVAPP i'm soo excited.

ya you got it. His mother also has an older brother whose family the FL lead lives with for a while. Her mother's brother's wife and Her mother's brother's wife's younger brother is the ones who caused her trauma.

there's link to the extras in the discussions. you'll find the proposal scene in it plus some others.

The Long Ballad. it's really similar

watched 3 eps, pretty entertaining.

if you like slow burn romance and don't mind some darker topic, go ahead. it's really good.

keep your eyes on Mobius from BJT. It should be released soon.

he keeps that arrogant attitude. but he treats the FL lead better around ep 7-8

he's not a Zhao Liying fan, he's just a troll trying to start fan wars.

you're so fake. If you did like Zhao Liying so much you would know the title of her new drama. Also I didn't even see you commenting in that drama page so you are just a troll

pretty much no connection.

first of all, they said he's body was unsuitable for martial arts. also, in addition to construction, he also learned to build traps, disarm traps, and find hidden doors. There's also another reason, but I won't spoil it for you.

there was some pretty weird angles so probably fake. but when i first watched i didn't notice it was fake until someone pointed out.

they are the second couple so obviously not as much screen time as the main leads do.
