I am not ready to see the drama ends tomorrow. The story, the cast have been something I so look forward to everyday in the past weeks. I wish I could write a note of recognition and thank you to the official account of 折腰 in weibo, but after 7 failed attempts of signing up with weibo, I finally gave up., The verification process embedded in weibo account set up truly sucks.

I do think the screenplay writer did an excellent work so far, I have been flipping pages so to speak of the novel online, must say I prefer the screenplay a lot more, it has good pacing, very consistent sequence, good editingtoo, leaving no particular gaps between events. I do hope the screenwriter did not drop the ball in the last minute.

I feel the same too, besides the pacing is really slow and many shootings are indoor, limited
cinematography, the dialogues are plain, can't hold my attention. I come and go between episodes and the airing is half done already, but just not captivating.

I have heard that Legend of Zang Hai Is a great hit, I started to watch it but it doesn't have me hooked as this drama does. In fact, I choose to watch this drama all over again, at least for now.

indeed, salute to the screen writer, I have been checking into the original novel latelymust say the screenplay is so much better, it is consistent and more relatable. Let's hope the screenplay does not drop the ball in the latter part. I'd hate screenwriter to put characters to death while they are much alive in the novel.

Hey, what do you make of the fact that she stood at the other side of the river staring at the enemy's army and they said they were going to catch her for reward. No idea what happened.

I was quite against the sister when I first heard she refused to help, but as you pointed out, the dialogue between the sisters swiped away my former opinion, the sister's stand is coerent with her character, she is different from her little sister who, due to her character, takes different stand in her life. She is however human too and she even doubts herself why she doesn't act as her sister does. Yes, wonderful script, great dialogue.

me too, I bought the express package when the drama started, it is just my cup of tea. I I go to bed looking forward to new episodes the next day and it has been like this for days.....p.s. I can't even have wetv app on my smart TV anymore, it is no longer among the standard Samsung app store on the TV, I have to watch wetv (and Youku too) on my phone .

He is indeed and he is very deserving too.I truly hope the screenplay does not turn him against the Wei in the end. Some screenplay writers intentionally draw tears from viewers as if it would make them more famous or something, to me it has the opposite effect, if a screenwriter draws tears even though the original novels state otherwise I always make sure to steer clear from their work.

..and the director sure made good use of his physics. What he asked the male lead to do with eyes wild open is priceless.

Indeed the construction of the canal is beneficial, there is no reason to fight for it. I don't think Wei Yan can join the fight this time yet because he has no troop under his command, but there should be more battles prior to the end of the drama, since we are only upto episode 29 :)

Wei Yan made the right choice to leave, he is a man of talent, clever, educated and he can also fight well. He has been put aside be the Wei family in the sense that he is not allowed to have any military responsibility because his father is not a Wei. Now the moment has come, leaving , taking with him all the blames of the rumours about him and his sister in law, and to try to establish himself in the state of his birth father. In the introduction piece, there is footage of him in battle armour drawing a sword, so I expect to see him on battlefield at some point, hopefully not against his cousin but fighting alongside with him, just as he was ready to do if only his father had granted him troops he asked to help the Wei against Liu Yan's atttack.
