Indeed amazing, a refreshing story, lovely cinematography, colours and costumes. Both leads are so on point.

I have always loved both the male and female leads. Just finished episode 1 and am totally enjoying both the story and their performance. Glad to see the female lead back on screen, this boycotting measure is indeed harsh, it is a morale issue, I can understand it. It is not practiced in the western world, so this brings me to think whether the western world needs to step up or China is being too strict.

OMG, the best series ever in the recent years. Intriguing plots, excellent construction of dialogues and seguence, great cinematography and visuals, top notch performance from the cast. When is season 3 coming!!!!

what a master piece of work! The plots, construction of dialogues, the seguecing of events, acting of the whole cast, the richness of the content, morale and essence of life transpired thruout, the visuals, the directing and editing... Joy of life 1 and 2 are the best dramas in the recent years!!! In my school days, there were film watching sessions, films were selected by the prof who would conduct commenting class afterwards. Joy of life would be such a great project up for comments.

Rewatching after a year or so and am still glued to the couch as I watch. What a rich, intriguing drama with great dialogues and top notch cast. It is the best drama in the recent years.

you mean the one with the young man who he considers his son. I Love these two characters so much, they did brilliant work in the drama. They got killed (one died fighting the other chose poison to help the male lead to carry out his plan for the last time. I wish the had a different ending.

why are their faces so white, literally discolouring? Too much filters taking off the natural skin colours...

just finished episode 1, very promising.Chan Xiao, the male lead, never disappoints, he is a great actor with fabulous diction. As for the female lead Rachael Ma, I would have preferred another more expressive actress.

Yes I like Chen Xiao a lot, he was so good in A dream of Splendor with Crystal Liu. They were fabulous there. Catch up soon in the next new costume drama 😉

OMG, what a list 👏👏👏. I have seen practically all of them, with the exceptions of ..the tang dynasty, ingenious one, blood of youth, Lotus case book. For somehow I had a run of them when they started but dropped them for one reason or other. But I am going to play the Ingenious one, will see how it goes. Your list is so thorough 👏 👏👏👏

I have seen them all except the Rise of Phoenixes which I dropped halfway. I miss Princess Agent, still. So I guess the seguel they are making now with a whole new cast is the next best thing, but don't think it will go on air anytime soon. Thank you for your efforts 🙏🙏

I have watched both, they are really good, the rebirth part in Blossom is minimum, I don't find it distracting at all. Perfect match tells a great story too. The cast is awesome 👍
