This drama is not an action drama but as many have said already, about a little girl who was first a slave pearl diver, then because of her intelligence and will to live freely, she became what we are seeing in the latter part of the drama. In the current episodes there are still battles but battles of wits and plots, just as engaging.

Yes, she has indeed suffered heart breaking losses and it is high time to see her find happiness with him, she is very deserving and so is he. But I have come to realize that many Chinese screen writers purposely give the leads a BE, as if only with a BE will the dramas remain unforgettable. The day the screen writers realize that HEs will make viewers happy and go to bed satisfied with a smile, thanking them, will be the day they stop being pathetic and unforgivable. So while sharing your argument, I'll hold off from watching until the ending is aired and a happy one, too. I really haven't gotten over yet with dramas ended badly, One and Only still haunts me to this day. I have taken note of the screen writer and director of One and Only, they will never have me watching any of Thier stuff again. There, now they have lost a paid viewer.

I know episode 33 was aired earlier today, haven't watched it yet and I am refraining myself from doing so until all the episodes are aired and it ends with an HE. I cannot and will not withstand another BE, hell, I haven't recovered from Journey to love, Love of nivrana and One and Only yet.

However I dread the ending, they may kill off the male lead, not that I have read any specifics, but since the story is about the growth of the female lead, they may want to show how she shoulders on tragic loss remaining whole and constructive. I so dread a BE, we viewers, both the female and male lead, the story itself deserve a happy ending. We don't need the death of the male lead to confirm how strong the female lead is.

indeed, big screen with high solutions is fantastic. I have the drama on netflix as of today. However I also have Youku app installed on my smart TV, so I hav been enjoying the drama on big screen and 4k resolution since day one.
