There is this big question in my head.. if the bad guy (the big brother) is actually the prince who "thanks" to his mother had his fact burnt when he was little in order to pass on, alive, as the big brother of the crazy guy, how did he restore the burnt face? Any one?😉

we can easily do the math to see airing one episode per day Is the average, since It Is March 17 today and March 30 Is the day when the final ep. 40 will be aired according to schedule.

so Wetv/Iqiyi, whatever, decided they will only release one episode a day till the end of the series. This is pure torture and wildly manipulative. Do they think it actually boosts viewing rate? No, it won't, if me halting to stream it till the last episode has any influence to viewing rate. I can't accept an episode a day schedule till thy kingdom come, it is simply inhuman. I hope they are going to find out they made a bad decision when the see the viewing rate suddenly drops.

I took a quick glance at he airing dates in Netflix, it looks that there will be many days when only one episode will be aired by Wetv, to slow down, to drag, the finale on March 30 with a express package. Damn, we are always at the mercy of steaming platforms regardless of our subscription fees.

I have read critics that the Director has made major contribution to the success of this drama which, I do find myself in agreement. The cast's excellent performance aside, the takes of shots, cinematography, the sequencing are clearly first class, the main leada were fortunate to have such a great director for this drama.

Guys, a little help please 🙏, I halted watching at episode 14 as I can't stand the separation, and prefer to come back to catch up when they reunite, in the army, I presume. Are we up to the episode of them getting together again or do I have to wait?

After the Prisoner of Beauty, I have been struggling to find another costume drama that can keep me just as glued to the couch as the POB did, I am glad to have found it now. I haven't read the story so I have no comparison, but the drama itself is so refreshing and honestly fast paced. The cast is great, the storyline, the directing, editing and cinematography all come together to deliver a wonderful period drama.
