Anyone who watched ep 31 already, do you think it's better to watch it with ep 32? I didn't like how I was craving…
For me watching 31 was a relief, at least their relationship is on the mend with him understanding her sufferings. Ep 32 is part of the progrss, but ep.31 is the turning point fof what happened in ep.30.

watched ep.31, unbelievable how the thirst of power is above all, the young king dares to doubt MXY wanting to leave his post in search of his wife. He has clearly explained that they have quarrelled and how he wants to find her and to make peace with her, yet the king sees danger, unbelievable

that's also true, he suffered worse injuries. Guess we'll just have to wait to find out.

so there is a Chinese video posted by a YouTuber who sustains the death of the princess is staged by herself as she wanted to find out who are behind the plot of waging war between two countries. By staging, she let the assignation took place. While I'd like to think she is not dead, but I fail to understand how she can survive from a real blow of knife to her heart.

I’m very invested in the slow burned love of YL and MXY, however the anti climax ending of ep 30 is really frustrating.…
I held off from watching ep 29 and 30, but with ep 31 on air today, I think I am in a good spot to watch all 3 episodes in one go, as ep 31 will, judging from previews, path the way to penance from MXY and reconciliation. I am going to enjoy the scene in which MXY being grapped by Yl's "brother", biting his head off because of what he did to her (preview in ep.31)

They have good chemistry but the kiss scenes feel off to me.
Cdramas seldom deliver steamy kissing or love scenes, it is a matter of tradition and culture, let alone in a period drama.

tears won’t stop coming after episode 30 and the preview for the next few episodes
I think ep 31 paths the way for the male lead to chase after his wife, it is the beginning of the reconciliation between them. The worse took place in ep.30.

you were right about the consistency of the screenplay. Everything moves forward steadily, never filling up time…
understand, we all have different feelings hence opinions. You find those scenes balancing while they were moments for me to walk away to raid the fridge:)

I’m so glad Princess Lingyun’s case didn’t drag on! Love how this drama continues to do a great job at maintaining…
you were right about the consistency of the screenplay. Everything moves forward steadily, never filling up time with unmeaningful dialogues or events, except for me, scenes "wasted" on the female lead's sister when she was tried to tame the peacock, her servants "flying", and fetching food to her husband more times than necessary.

how is it that the classification of this drama here goes up and down? it was higher just yesterday than what is shown now!

love Bai Lu and Cheng Li as leads here and the roles they respectively covered are so befitting to their style in acting. Come to think of it, not only them, but the cast that covered all side characters are well chosen, even those 2 ittle boys playing nephews, especially the one who played nephew of the male lead did a wonderful job. Honestly what is not to like about this drama? Since there will be only one episode a day till weekend, I am starting from the beginning again in the meantime to tie me over till the remaining episodes will be released so to binge watch them all.

Just genuinely curious, not trying to cause any drama... Is the rating influenced by Bai Lu's presence, or is…
I didn't start the drama because of Bai Lu, I did it because I saw the trailers some time ago and they looked promising. It is a really good drama, not some typical idol drama with same old same old trope. I am in a state in which I wish they would release all remaining episodes in one go for a fee, it is that good to me.

I tried watching it; the story is different and good, but the actor is very bad. They should have chosen someone…
Cheng lei is perfect for the role.

They just finished filming. Costume dramas take longer in post production, and then it will have to go through…
oh so a year from now, thanks for this. I'll wait patiently, there are always some great cdramas to rewatch in the meantime.
