Moon Lee looks convincing as a 17 year old. Her best friend not as much but she doesn't look 40+. Ko Chia Yen looks even older than she really is. When I saw her in the first episodes I genuinely thought she's in her late 40s.
So I guess my question should be rephrased as why did they hire an actress who looks in her late 40s to play the role of a 25 year old?

Starting the second part and I'm starting to feel a disconnect from part one because of
Ko Chia Yen. Why did they hire a 40-year old actress to play the part of a 20 something year old? That would've been fine if everybody else was aged but they aren't.
