Liu Xue Yi deserves better dramas. And co-leads. I don't doubt JJY could be good but not with LXY. They had a uncle/niece kind of vibe and she played her character like an idol drama actress instead of the promising FL we saw in the first two episodes. Her make up and hairstyles were also pretty horrible and cheap looking.

I adore Xing Xu and Ruo Nan but this wasn't the drama they deserved. The romance came out of nowhere and the drama at the end made the main character's relationship very depressing. The evil lawyer got off to easily, she should have been disbarred for what she did.

The ending was a mess but I loved this pair so much, they were funny and lovable then tragic but still lovable. One of my favorites couples!

I can't watch this anymore, it's boring me to death and the main CP have no chemistry at all. I like the actors but I'm not feeling their love an attraction. Such a letdown.

Raw and sensual is one thing, uncouth and unprofessional is another. The stereotypes are so heavy handed and left a bad taste.

I agree about Keita and Ryoma's acting. I felt exactly the same.

What about Suzuki taking his shirt off? I would argue that can get you banned from a dance competition.

Moon Lee looks convincing as a 17 year old. Her best friend not as much but she doesn't look 40+. Ko Chia Yen looks even older than she really is. When I saw her in the first episodes I genuinely thought she's in her late 40s.
So I guess my question should be rephrased as why did they hire an actress who looks in her late 40s to play the role of a 25 year old?

Starting the second part and I'm starting to feel a disconnect from part one because of
Ko Chia Yen. Why did they hire a 40-year old actress to play the part of a 20 something year old? That would've been fine if everybody else was aged but they aren't.

I don't know, it's hard to see him as a monster because they all deserved it.

I would love to, unfortunately it seems it's been deleted :(. I read the translation on AOO a few weeks ago but it's no longer there. Most likely the whomever posted it was hit with a copyright claim and had to delete it. But I hope we will get an official English translation.
