What happened when Bryce got drunk at Bart's place? It is implied he kissed Bart before he fell on the bed and kissed hit his head or did he just get really close?
I really wanted to love this because I love Kokoy, but the story was just underdeveloped. And no matter how much I empathize with Mando's struggles, I just can't get past what he did to Krisha. It's just something you don't do, Barry was her brother. He should have broken up with her the second he realized he can't stop himself from fantasizing about Barry. He didn't need to out himself just not two-time.
The second disappointing part is that I didn't get a feel for who Barry was. His mental issues were the only thing we get to know about it and that he's got no issues in dating his sister's boyfriend. And how convenient his boyfriend cheated on him just when he was drinking Mando with his eyes.
6 episodes were not enough for this kind of story, I mean, they weren't really a get to know each other period, they didn't even try to fight it, they just went for it, while completely ignoring the sister.
What they did you Krisha was wrong and I felt sorry for her but I didn't like her character very much. In the beginning, she pretty much decided Mando's gonna be her boyfriend and didn't take no for an answer. Don't know if this wasn't written just to make his future actions more excusable.
I don't know, something about this story left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I liked the first two episodes and the teacher's story though.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but Yoon Eun Hye is overdoing on the cuteness in this one. She was endearing in Coffee Prince but almost insufferable in this one. Acting almost non-stop like a child by goffing of or moping around. I know the character was written within these lines but she could have taken it down a notch.
I often have second lead syndrome, but not in this one. Not that Shin is that great, but I can't stand Yul. Always pretending to be supportive while he's just looking for a way in to one-up his cousin. I don't believe for a second his feelings for Chae-gyung are real. Everytime he gives her "advice" I just want to plaster his mouth.
I don't want to be mean but David it a bit much, too whiny. The pacing is too slow. The bed scene was too much, the resort employees throwing slurs at each is worrisome.
I have no problem with age gap unless one of the parties acts too juvenile despite being an adult. A 24-year old woman acting a like 12-year old girl would be really icky. But hopefully it won't be the case here. We'll see how this plays out.
I mean who waits for someone 10 years and breaks up after 2 months of long-distance? KWY is the worst female character ever. She is so messed-up, she enjoys being miserable. I can't stand to see one more second of her moppy face. Don't you have a life? Shooting the drama, working on your calligraphy, meeting your friends? 6 months will fly by in no time.
