I like First a lot. I love First. First is my man. He's a great actor and he's good looking and great and cool. But for some reason I feel like his performance as Sand is falling way short of my expectations. Something about this particular role isn't suiting him. He's done more serious characters well in the past so I don't think that's the issue, although I did find his performance most natural when Sand is bonding with Nick, which means when he's happy and smiling. Maybe the fact that this show is all about its grittiness and whatnot is making him try a bit too hard to look cool? That being said, Sand is still the most sympathetic character in the show so I'll be rooting for him. And I'm going to take the opportunity now to say the SandRay scenes are boring to me. Sorry! I also don't find Book as egregious of an actor as everyone else. You'd think he shot someone's mom the way his name pops up in these comments. But it's always fans of the same people saying it so.

honestly ep 9 was like a telenovela I wish theyd been this dramatic since ep 1 instead of having a genre identity crisis for 8 episodes

omg I did actually, and would you believe this was my favorite episode so far? as someone who hated all 8 previous episodes I think watching a character fall down the stairs for no reason was exactly what I needed

omg I had the exact same question as to whether or not an intimacy coordinator was present on set like I'm super curious to know, but all I've seen is Jojo say in a tweet that any scene the actors didn't consent to was scrapped
