TTJ knows more about emotions than YXW because he had to build his emotion set from the ground up. YXW was quite confident she knew love because she was raised with it. But romantic love was what TTJ offered to YXW, amd she didn't recognize it because she only knew about it through novels, which doesn't really teach you anything about deep love. She hasn't felt it yet, until TTJ came along.
