I really want to know how this story will go, because after 20 episodes, she is still fighting for the Tang. I initially thought, based on the synopsis, that she would join with Ashina Sun and fight the Tang.

So after watching 10 episodes yesterday, I decided to watch the 2014 version again with Han Dong just to pass the time and to compare the two. I have also watched every drama and movie for this story, Chinese and HK versions. This drama's pacing is way too fast and scenes completely jump around, thus making it very choppy.
The setting, lighting, and clothing are awful. The empress dowager looks like a palace maid, and the emperor's dragon robes look very insignificant. Pretty obvious that this drama has a very low budget.

Is the synopsis for this drama even correct, lol? She barely solves any problems for the army, other than fending off the enemy attack on the general's estates and teaching the general how to tact. She causes more problems and has the general fix most of those problems.
Their chemistry is amazing though and her smile is very bright.

The pacing for episode 51 and after are very fast, so it feels hard to actually care about the events. Also, the new characters don't have enough screentime, so I have no emotions for them. Who am I supposed to root for at the end? Yes, MingYu is the main character, but she always keeps things to herself. She keeps saying her actions are for the best for others, but her actions have cost the lives of a lot of people and the happiness of others. I want to support her, but after all that has happened, I just can't.

If you're talking about about Poisoned Love, then I actually finished it. That was one was way better, with a better story.
