I gave 5 to MMH, I even wrote a review with all of my ranting... I know I'm in a minority, but even so, this drama is better in my opinion (not for discussion, it's my opinion), in 2 areas: several subplots of MMH were unbelievable, plus the acting of most characters was atrocious.

My first comment got lost, then I had to write it again. Thank you for letting me know, I deleted one of them. Also, you should read carefully before getting defensive. I never said that you insulted anyone. It's just that you're defending QOT left and right, and I find it just too funny LOL

Go to the ratings of this drama and you'll see that only 4% of the ratings were given by teenagers (13-17). Adults 18-24 have 15% of the ratings. AND the huge majority of 81% of ratings were given by members older than 35 years old with an average "8.2-8.6" rating.
If we were friends, I'd kindly advise you to check the facts before complaining about a drama, especially one so popular in so many places and sites, and also to be careful of your words, because in "your opinion" you basically looked down on teenagers' tastes. They are part of our big MDL community and we care about them.

I didn't expect to laugh so much in the first episodes, tbh. I also loved the main leads acting and story, so I just added the second season to my pending list.

Cable is insignificant in SK. In my personal opinion, any high percentage for a single episode in a cable tv in SK is not a great achievement at all.

As a hard fan of KSH, I was relieved that QOT was from TVn because TVn has an alliance with Netflix. allowing simultaneous releases. The fact that QOT was in top 10 Netflix views in several countries, that’s what in my opinion, is a great achievement.

The reasons are:

- Pay tv in SK has only about 32 million subscribers. Pay TV is = cable, plus IPTV (internet protocol tv) like hulu, netflix, amazon, disney, apple, plus satellite.

- Although IPTV is growing (50% of pay tv subscribers) and leaving behind cable, it still has tiny market share in SK

- Worse, TVn only has 3.8 million subscribers. CJ, owner of TVn, OCN and Chunghwa, has only 12% of pay tv (while KT has like half).

- This means that any drama with a popular artist can get high single episode views in TVn like QOT did.

- But thankfully, QOT could reach a lot of subscribers abroad and maintain my dear KSH popularity, even if they didn't like the drama that much, like me, because nowadays views weigh more than rating lol

Exactly. I forgot to tell you that dramas that I rated 8.5 and higher, are all future rewatchable for me, whenever I'll be in the mood.

Some comments said that the FL leaves the ML for 2 years without telling him in advance (or not ever telling him, or something like that).

Please someone tell me if this is true, because this is one of my strongest pet peeves and a factor in my decision to watch or not.
