Unfortunately i can't watch this one. It's not on Netflix or Viki. I don't have a laptop, so i can't watch it…
My opinion: - The second, third and fifth are good with good romance, but May I help You has supernatural elements with the good romance and some emotional scenes of people 's wishes before they die (I rated them 8/10). - Begin Again and Love is Sweet are just the typical entertaining dramas to just pass the time (I rated them 7/10) - Do not even bother with Just Fiancee LOL
I'm not clear about MDL tags definitions but I think it's similar to mine since this drama doesn't have a love triangle tag. My definition comes from literature terms (I read a lot), but I've also read chat comments where other members have my same definition: A love triangle does not occur simply because someone is jealous of another. A love triangle exists when one lead is pursued by 2 people from the other sex, and that lead is not attracted at the beginning to any suitor or is unsure about her/his feelings for each of them. There's no love triangle when the lead publicly, clearly, is not attracted to one of the two suitors from the start.
I think some of the reviews are right. After episode 9, it becomes agonizingly slow... I grinded it out to episode…
Since you haven't rated any drama, I'm going blind and tell you that most k-dramas are slow. They even talk slow. Even the most worldwide famous are slow (Goblin, It's okay not to be okay, etc.) My suggestion and I hope it helps you, is that you FF but at a readable speed instead of skipping because you would miss the subtleties that make up any drama.
You could also try to watch C-dramas, they have fast dialogues and fast editing cut scenes. On the Cons side, they tend to have filler scenes and/or characters.
Thanksss so much for sharing….with this extra 15mins it brings back sweet memories of the drama & their romance…
The most similar c-drama in plot (from high school until post-college), and also dealing with aftermath are: Forever Love (2020) and Le Coup d Foudre (2019), None in the list given by member sunflower above is similar.
>slap on the face. I don't mind spoilers, what do you mean by this?
I read the writer's bio. This was one of the first scripts he wrote, usually writers improve with more experience. But if what Park Min said it's true: "her reason was that the longer she stays with him the more she will love him so better off end it early for their own sake, something about their carriers/studies/families", then yes, it's a lazy plot device which by itself negates the relationship the leads had in previous episodes, just for the sake of adding unrealistic conflict. By the way, there are many novel writers that have been criticized for this same type of plot device, In any case, I put it in my pending list for the ML.
