I spoiled myself of this legit a week ago (my tweet below is when I spoiled myself 🫠) and it makes me wonder how a couple ppl knew this on twitter before it even got revealed 😭 I didn't read the novel but I thought someone said Fang Zhou doesn't exist but maybe I'm remembering wrong. Anyways Tang Lici, oh he is gonna see A Shei in a new light now after finding out ahhh I am getting emotional 😭 Haven't even caught up yet and a lil behind so I am excited to watch the next episodes 🥹

Yeah I can tell and ngl, I'm okay with a drama not having romance! I think I personally just enjoy watching Fugui's scenes. Qingtong with her brother is just... ughh, I hate it that I either skip or really fastforward it a lot. I hear ppl say they start to note like FL and ngl I'm starting to feel it a little now. I'm on Ep.20 and am only enjoying Fugui's scenes as well as Yunfei and Rumu. I'm probably in the minority but I'm more relieved that there is no romance instead as the drama rlly doesn't need one. I prefer them to not have it if it feels forced/wrong/not real. And plus esp if FL starts to be disliked by so many viewers too with choosing to believe her brother over him (she does right? I havent gotten up to that part but I believe I read someone say that... correct me if I'm wrong tho)

I agree with you sooo much omg! The more I watch, the more I fall in love with them even tho I love them sooo much already. Been already obsessed since the airing and when I rewatch clips, ughhh, it makes me miss them so much and makes me remember just how much I rlly loved them. I will never get over the bond each one had with each other especially that chemistry between ML and 2ML like omg! It really took me MONTHS and I mean MONTHS to move on and get over it (like stop thinking about it 24/7). But even now, I am still coming here from time to time haha there's rlly no going back once you've watched this!

Well, Chengyi does tend to have sad endings lately unfortunately but... you should still check out his other works cuz he is such a great actor! My favorites of his are Love and Redemption and Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Everyone says good reviews about MLC (like I legit see no bad one shockingly) so I'm sure anyone seeing this would say you're missing out lol. Well, I definitely recommend it! Definitely one of my most favorite dramas! L&R is so good too tho and considered as one of my favs too :) If you want romance, L&R is his best work yet! His chemistry with FL is just soooo good. It really feels like they love each other! MLC isn't a romance drama, but a solve casing drama and he is really smart and his martial arts is really good whenever you see it. The bromance there is amazinggg!!!! Hope you can check these two out at least one day! I'll also look forward to Vendetta of An, hoping it will become better than Chengyi's previous works bc unfortunately his previous ones haven't been the best (tho I enjoyed a lot of fushanhai but it was disappointing in many ways too). I rlly don't want a 3rd disappointing drama in a row of his, not to mention they're all this year only so... fingers crossed!

I actually think the same. I personally think Fugui is better without romance at all. I enjoy watching him focus on his own goals more than the romance that they were trying to give us but failed to deliver. Should've just left it as just companionship and nothing more than that. It reminds me like Fushanhai... they didn't go into romance but just stayed as friends and it felt a lot more natural and I was relieved bc that drama didn't need one. This one didn't need one either. I am behind since I started late but after seeing people's negative thoughts about it, I'm like, "Why try to indicate there will be romance between the leads when you won't even develop it???" It made me think that romance should not have been there in the first place for the leads. Now if the romance was written well and it looked like they loved each other, then I wouldn't complain. But I don't really see the love in their eyes that they have for each other so the fact that romance is considered as one of the genres of this drama just feels wrong. I think I'm gonna enjoy the side couples a lot tho but it's so sad how they wrote the main leads poorly, giving them such little screentime in the second half :(

The way I leave out one episode per day just so that if the cliffhanger makes me want to watch the next, I can at least watch the next scene in the next episode lol, I feel better that way 😆

This drama deserves at least 8.7 like why is it still 8.3 🫠 With so many things going on in each episode, how can this be boring? It's so exciting!

As much as I miss the 2 eps per day schedule, I like how we are going slowly with this drama bc I know we are about just halfway there but WHAT AM I GONNA DO AFTER THIS FINISHES LIKE I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET OVER IT 😭😭😭😭 Like I'll surely rewatch it not long after LMAO what do you guys think you'll decide watching after this lol

I think I'll still enjoy this one while watching the side couples tho (tho I know they take up most of the screentime so idk if they're even called side anymore lmao). Despite the lack of main cp I still feel like I'll enjoy the others but the drama should've focused on them all and not just remove main cp out almost entirely to focus on another. I love how LiP did it. Side couples (esp 2nd cp) got a lot of screentime but main cp wasn't cut out like here in S&B. But anyway let's just watch

yessss it's so good!!! I loved FoF soooo much too and this WoF is right next to it on my list of favorites already 🤭 it has a lot of ships you can pair up with too just like FoF! Love the story, plot, cinematography, fight sequences, friendships, and bromances! There's even sismance (not enough of it but still ship it). Also, Tang Lici is one of the most well-written and most interesting characters I've ever seen. Luo Yunxi portrays him soooo perfectly (he plays different types of characters of him too and slays them all). Every actor in this drama just slays tho 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yes I have so much to say about this drama bc it's just that good. I know people have their own opinions tho but I hope this drama doesn't disappoint you. Personally I loved it already from Ep.1 and instead of it going downhill, it just keeps getting better and better! You'll def be amazed by the CGI and effects of it too. Story may be complex but it's sooo interesting. Every arc leaves you wanting to watch more. You'll never know what to expect in each episode bc they give you lots of surprises 🤭

Well, watch it and see if you'll like it. To me it's one of the best I've ever seen. Definitely 'Best Drama of the Year' for me!

I can tell you loved LiP a lot more and I'm with you cuz I def had much more expectations for this (S&B) tho I only watched Ep.10 but it's still enjoyable just not as good as how I felt when watching LiP. I remember waiting for episodes everyday bc it was so fun and the friendship was just so fun and beautiful to watch and I loved all the cps in that drama too! I really miss them a lot. Everything about it was so good and enjoyable except for the ending. I don't feel the same here for S&B and knowing that things get so downhill in the second half with main cp making no progress in their romance and Fugui not being able to live the life he wants and being a self-sacrificing tool... and the main leads becoming cameos/guests... yeah.... not having high expectations now

I personally would recommend to watch LiP but you don't have to if you don't want to. I personally really loved Love in Pavilion... so when they show flashbacks of what happened there and mention every character that I loved there, it makes me really emotional and miss them so much more :( If you didn't watch LiP, you won't feel that emotion when watching S&B but it's really up to you if you want to watch it or not. Preference but I really love the way they did that drama compared to this one. The friendships were so fun to watch there as well. I only watched Ep.10 of S&B and it's quite enjoyable for me so far but I heard main cp become cameos/guest roles in the second half (like 5 mins to even 1 min or even less per episode) so I'm not gonna expect much anymore but still will look forward to the other cps to watch. Just so sad they make main cp like this and I hear FL becomes worse so... I hope you enjoy watching tho if you end up watching it!
