still undecided whether to watch this or not.. looking for fellow xianxia watchers! please share your xianxias…
I've watched lots of Xianxia but these are only the ones that I've stuck through till the end 1. ten miles of peach blossom/love and destiny/hua qian gu 2. love between fairy and devil/eternal love of dream 3. ashes of love/the starry love 4. the legend of shenli 5. immortal samsara 6. till the end of the moon 7. love and redemption 8. back from the brink 9. beauty of resilience
How do you guys feel abt LGX as XZ, I am totally loving it but some are saying he looks a bit too "bulky" they…
I know it comes down to personal preference and this is just my personal opinion, but often times, I have to drop dramas where ML is too skinny and baby faced especially when their roles are to be strong and mature. I also don't find it attractive at all and no sex appeal but then again, I'm into men who are bulky, muscular, and mature, so it's just a personal preference. LGX is perfect for an ancient god
Is there a reason why ju jingyi doesn't sing her drama's ost anymore? I always look forward to hearing her sing but lately she seems to opt out of it in her recent dramas. Anyways I've been enjoying this drama a lot. I love jjy since snh but her drama script wise were always mid, this one however, is really good, she finally picked a good role. male lead is also so hot and the chemistry is off chart
Finished it, it wasn't bad per se, I didn't really have to skip scenes while watching it. But I just got annoyed with all 3 of the sisters throughout the whole show, especially In Kyung. I know people says she carried the show but for me, I found her unrealistic. I grew up in the same situation as them and this drama wrote all the sisters with such rose tinted glass, as if the scriptwriter for sure has never been poor for a single day in their lives. The fact that they want to highlight how poor and unfortunate the sisters grew up, but then make them, especially In Kyung, so proud, full of herself, morally upstanding, and cares more about her own dignity than their highlighted poor situation, is unrealistic and unrelatable.
Sese has been whitewashed in the drama. She tried to kill Xiao Feng in the book and tries to get Xiao Feng in…
Girl, I never read the book, my comment is based on the drama. I don't care about how they are depicted in the book. C-drama should be watched standalone from the novel anyways because they almost never follow the novel due to censorship. I stand by my statement, the drama sese is just another victim of LCY and is a victim of abusive relationship. But to each their own.
how gruesome or gory would you say this is? In the recommendation list, there's sweet home. I can stand that level of gore fine. Zombie movies gore I also watch fine but if it's more than that, then I don't think I'll be able to take it. just wanna know before I start watching (I read the comments and they depict unit 731??)
I'm a fan of the webtoon so season 2 felt like such a hot mess and took a lot away from the core message of the webtoon and even what the first season had set up. I know they don't follow the webtoon storyline that much ever since season 1 but it should still be more concise and not this all over the place. It wasn't the worse watch or anything, it was still enjoyable to watch to pass time. It just lost a lot of the charm it had before
just picked this up again today (I on held this since 2019 lmao), I'm only on ep 35 but am I the only one who feel sorry for sese. like if that girl wanna go all out villainous I wouldn't blame her. if anything that prince is to be blamed. he's such a shitty guy. xf also needs to grow tf up. like I normally love childish, cute, not that smart fl so so much (ex. Feng jiu, Hua qian gu, Xiao lan hua etc) but she's not it. she's not cute and she's just really full of herself and thinks it's her rights to get in trouble. I liked her a lot in the first arc before she lost her memories, now I just can't stand her. hopefully she'll come to her senses once she regain her memories again.
to be honest I don't mind her acting, it's just the weird ass costume and makeup she's always wearing in her dramas. I'm having some hope tho bcos the costume here looks great
SGQ should stick to Gong Family till the end if she wants to survive. But as her mentor said, her only problem…
I think she's doomed either way even if she stay with Gong family bcos she has already gone too far and is basically marked an untrustworthy pathological liar. But you're right, maybe I worded it wrong, what she prioritises is herself and safety and not wufeng. I just wish we had gotten to see her genuine flashback/origin like we did for most wufeng characters. Because till the very end, we never really know what she's really thinking
Okay I just finished it. Lots of flaws but the cinematography and casts are so good it makes up for it. I've been…
also I laughed a bit bcos in ep 23 jinfan died trying to get chuyun chonglian just to use it on himself lmaoo??? and also that dude with the father was like having a farewell scene with his father for 10 mins straight while the wang just stood there quietly
Okay I just finished it. Lots of flaws but the cinematography and casts are so good it makes up for it. I've been reading the comments and my opinion on this is so unpopular. I like the ending, it was true to the story. I also still think GSJ is a better sword wielder, he has all the virtues and more resolute than GZY who I was rooting for and expected to improve (emotionally) but until the very end he kinda sucked. Anyways I love ZLH and GZY's character (outside of being a sword wielder) and his chemistry with YSX is chef's kiss. people hate SGQ but I like her, she's true to her mission to the very end. I also like her dynamic with GSJ unlike many people bcos I think they both does share sentiment but at the very end of the day GSJ would always prioritise gong family and SGQ would always prioritise her mission/wufeng.
also why are the actors looking so deja vu but when I clicked into the profile they are mostly new actors that I've never seen before but they are so familiar looking lol
