Title Hidden Love
Where did you see the trailer. He’s pretty comedic in Mr. Bad.
It’s on the youku app as the princess and the werewolf. But I swear when I watched it yesterday it was called Go Princess Go 2.

Although, I just saw the trailer for CZY’s other show Go Princess Go 2 and I’m like 🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully he’s a good comedic actor too. He looks like the type who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

I dislike when people dismiss romance as a light genre. I watch a lot of romance, and while it’s true that you can just have a tropey drama with good-looking actors (and I love those too, haha!) But to really get you rewatching and feeling all the feelings, a great actor can really elevate it.

Lusi has a proven track record, but CZY is new to me. The ML in romance always always has trauma but all the expressions of CZY - smiling while being on the verge of tears, putting on a fake smile, having to humble himself to others, and looking so vulnerable in front of SZ makes him one of the best actors I’ve seen in a romance drama. He shows DJX as playful and approachable, while being responsible and sad. It’s not easy to display that complexity. Often you get the one dimensional stony faced tsundere, or the top school student who is too intelligent he hasn’t noticed he’s falling in love (not that I have a problem with those characters, I will happily watch) For me, this puts him in the class of actors like Allen Ren or Zhang Xing Cheng who are really appealing to watch, not just because of looks.

Just looking at the pictures from the press conference and apart from the mother I don’t recognise any other actors 😅 The main leads interactions take up 100% of my attention.

In Mr. Bad he was modern day and also in historical costume. He’s also in Handsome Sublings which is a Wuxia…
Should I watch Mr Bad? I haven’t watched it because I have gone off Shen Yue.

He was really good in the first Go Go Squid, as a sort of annoying younger brother. That is my favourite series with him in it. Where he is a minor character, haha. He just doesn’t look fun.

This drama is a breath of fresh air. More than once I've said "so cute" out loud. I rarely feel such chemistry…
They’re both such talented and natural actors. It helps that they look like they’re playing characters close to themselves. He’s playful but not overconfident. (No more 25 year old CEOs please! Or ‘cool’ guys. Nobody actually likes boys who can’t make jokes!) She’s cute but not stupid.

Their micro-expressions are spot on. And there is so much emphasis on their small interactions, so we get all the cuteness and nervousness almost like in real time.

Lusi really amazed me in this drama .
She’s making some really good choices lately. Her characters are not silly - SZ is young but she is not petulant and stupid and her male leads are good actors (Leo wu and CZY are excellent. I’m comparing to the actor in Mr Ling…). I’m beginning to feel like if it’s a ZLS movie it will be of a certain standard now.

After I couldn’t wait for the episodes, I started reading the manhua. And after I couldn’t wait for the manhua…
I hope they keep it like the novel. DJX fight with her brother and her parents disapproval , these are only small obstacles - at the end of the day they respect her choices. I’ll be upset if they don’t make it overly dramatic,

I hope this drama doesn't turn into Rebirth For You starring Ju Jingyi, where the bish villain took over the show.…
Urgh! That happened in The Legend of White Snake too.

What is SL?
It’s where a character who is a second lead in the book gets changed into the male lead in the tv drama.

Title The Glory
As a romance lover I gotta admit the romance felt unnecessary here and the Male Lead was a disappointing opportunity…
Same here. I thought it was unnecessary to have this sort of romance even though I love love romance. What was wrong with just having the tension between her and DY? They looked good together, serious, sombre, restrained. I also think his age gave him gravitas.

Just started this and am loving it so far. It seemed so familiar, like the way the scenes are cut and put together,…
I like Liang Jie for this reason too. She seems normal and doesn’t look like she’s trying to be cutesy or delicate. TDBY is amazing, so funny.

I hope either this upcoming drama or Sword and fairy 4 will be her breakthrough of the year. Hoping that many…
I like Ju Jing Yi, but I don’t think her choices of dramas have been great.

Legend of Yun Xi was excellent, her performance was great. Legend of White Snake was well acted, she was mature and elegant in that. TBRP wasn’t great, but I blame the script.

But Love under the Moon and Rebirth for You were poor. Her make up and clothes were fussy, storylines implausible and it began to look like her team cared more about her looking beautiful than acting.

I would like to see a return to form. I thought her acting in Yun Xi was brilliant.

I really want to support Yu Menglong, but I find this drama with him being a perfect prince very cringey and low budget.

"Both are very limited actors at the moment, not yet accomplished enough to carry xian xia or heavy modern drama,…
I just watched the trailer, I like it. Xing Fei has been directed well, she seems more mature. I don’t like her sort of happy vacant expression she’s had to have in a lot of rom coms. It was perfect in PYHOMS, but I didn’t like it in anything else.

Someone give me an honest review of the actress. I like her male leads, but she seems awkward in the clips I’ve seen of her. Can’t warm to her!
