I was really sad when YD was dying and she said ‘the world will never see the mortal Tang Zhou again’. She sounded devastated, like there was no point without him and like she was following him into death. In a way, she meant that. The love TZ gave her, which was untainted, was gone. YY’s love for her, while the same, is complicated, and always be overshadowed by duty. She doesn’t believe YY would ever break the rules for her (if only she had heard ZX’s bedside speech 🥺) and she sees TZ as only a small part of YY, a side of YY that is not dominant when the full YY in all his complexity returns
And the emotion when they meet up again for the first time in the desert! I was emotional for them! So many pent up feelings! 🥹 When YY gets all magic on us and tells her he won’t give up I’m going to scream! SO EXCITED! Haha
In the teasers I think I can see YD looking really pleased when YY holds her and hides her from the guard!

I remember watching a video talking about a lot of the actors going the extra mile and doing their own stunts. A few were actors already trained in martial arts (Zheng ye Cheng and Wu Lei) or dance (Leo Luo and Yang Yang) but Cheng Yi was praised similarly highly for his fight scenes even though he has neither martial arts or dance training. He works really hard to perfect his movements.
