I notice the last scene of the preview makes it look like ji won saw something and misunderstood (ji Hyuk to be cheating). I hope they don’t do this or allow any misunderstanding.
Ji Won is particularly traumatised by cheating and has very real trust issues. They shouldn’t be taken lightly by the scriptwriters for cliche drama plot. Her healing arc was working very well until today’s episode!
Now, this k-drama ruin the good drama to pathetic one. Typical drama plot one again. Writers just do 180 degree…
The possessive ex is so pathetic, you’re right! What is wrong with the scriptwriter?!!
There was enough to continue this drama without introducing a new character, as we still needed to see how ji Huron changed his fate and what su min and min hwan will do with her fake pregnancy!
Just watched the extended preview for episode 11 - it looks like it’s focussed on Ju Ran, her husband and her romance. I haven’t really been interested in her in the drama, and I found her storyline so dull in the webtoon! Just give me ji-hyuk and hi won dating filler please! Or I don’t even mind his sister, although Eun-Ho is sort of 2D character too.
Just saw the last preview and still hate XQ mother. I wanted to have a rant about how Chinese dramas often forgive people for heinous crimes. I remember in Count my Lucky Stars a girl tried to kill the FL and she got forgiven. Here, the mother learns her lesson, but so what? She ruined a young man’s future! Annoyed!
It’s not a ‘we are all human/nobody is perfect’ mistake. I have gone my whole life knowing not to attempt to kill/bribe or frame people. People who do that are bad people who seek to harm others. Stop letting them off the hook!
I can't remember which episode (approx) when DJX realizes SZ is a young woman instead of a child and becomes attracted…
Yes. Once she’s at university. I think the scene where DJX gets water poured on him and SZ looks after him is where he starts to see her in a different light. SZ caring for him is a role reversal. Tv series wise, it escalates from there. I can’t remember in the novel.
I have a friend in rl who married her brother’s best friend. But in her case, he’s 10 years older and has known her since she was 5. He asked to kiss her when she was 13 and waited until her 18th birthday to take her on a date and ask her out. Now - that is creepy.
This is not. DJX meets SZ at 14, he’s 19 (in the book he’s 21). But we all had crushes on older guys back then, it’s normal. And they don’t notice us, that’s normal too. He doesn’t see her in that way at all in the beginning, she’s just an amusing kid to him. This is important, he doesn’t have any romantic feelings for her when she’s young - as opposed to *see above real life story*.
After she’s 16 they have no contact in 2 years. This is essentially the time she’s becoming a young woman - so he is getting to know her again now, but properly as an equal and a friend - and only at this point does he become attracted to her.
Looking at the BTS and seeing hair clips in CZY’s hair in between shots. The attention to detail! I’d like to thank this hair wizard, because his hair is magic.
Can someone from China explain this to me?? Why keyboards on cellphones in China shows the Latin alphabet but…
A Chinese keyboard would be too complex, too many strokes. So we use the English keyboard, write the words out phonetically and the most common characters appear (like predictive text in English).
You know what I love about Lusi, she acts like she’s physically attracted to her ML and wants to be physical with them. There’s something that is just so rubbish about a FL who is terrified by physical contact or is always rejecting the ML - and there are a lot of them.
There’s meant to be really strong physical attraction when you fall in love! I know a lot of them are trying to convey nervousness or ‘innocence’, but many overact it and they end up looking like they really don’t want to do it and it’s a chore.
Although, I just saw the trailer for CZY’s other show Go Princess Go 2 and I’m like 🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully he’s a good comedic actor too. He looks like the type who doesn’t take himself too seriously.
I dislike when people dismiss romance as a light genre. I watch a lot of romance, and while it’s true that you can just have a tropey drama with good-looking actors (and I love those too, haha!) But to really get you rewatching and feeling all the feelings, a great actor can really elevate it.
Lusi has a proven track record, but CZY is new to me. The ML in romance always always has trauma but all the expressions of CZY - smiling while being on the verge of tears, putting on a fake smile, having to humble himself to others, and looking so vulnerable in front of SZ makes him one of the best actors I’ve seen in a romance drama. He shows DJX as playful and approachable, while being responsible and sad. It’s not easy to display that complexity. Often you get the one dimensional stony faced tsundere, or the top school student who is too intelligent he hasn’t noticed he’s falling in love (not that I have a problem with those characters, I will happily watch) For me, this puts him in the class of actors like Allen Ren or Zhang Xing Cheng who are really appealing to watch, not just because of looks.
Just looking at the pictures from the press conference and apart from the mother I don’t recognise any other actors 😅 The main leads interactions take up 100% of my attention.
In Mr. Bad he was modern day and also in historical costume. He’s also in Handsome Sublings which is a Wuxia…
He was really good in the first Go Go Squid, as a sort of annoying younger brother. That is my favourite series with him in it. Where he is a minor character, haha. He just doesn’t look fun.

In the webtoon Ji-Hyeok and his family are all lovely and there was no ex-fiancé . I’m so disappointed they’ve gone down this route!
