Someone mentioned Thursday’s episode had 👩🏻❤️🧑🏻 on it. But since TZ is dying, I’m guessing she will have to kill him on Thursday (I’m surprised he still makes it through the next two episodes!). So does that emoji mean than on Thursday we not only see TZ die, but they very quickly put us out of our misery and give us an emotional but happy reunion of YY and YD? I mean, I can’t think of the specifics, but it’s either this or they put the wrong emoji in.
I mean, technically this is the first time they’ve seen each other for almost 1000 years, there should be so many Feeelllings 🥹😍🥺. I’m so invested in this couple, haha.
Honestly this makes sense since in the trailer for this season I saw YD stabbing TZ so I was pretty confident…

Oh my god?! Really? I’m so ready for a lovey dovey episode! Maybe it’s the kiss in the heavens. Where one theory is he’s crying because she still wants to create distance between them.
It’s so refreshing to see all the resentment leave the series. In some xian xia they keep the misunderstanding and resentments between the leads going for the whole series (Goodbye My Princess (which I love), AoL and even my favourite show in the world TMoPB was guilty of this).
But I think most of us were tired of seeing what (misplaced) hatred of YY was doing to YD. The fact that she accepts that she will love TZ/YY but that they should put others before their love is so beautiful it makes me tear up. I think she continues to love him because there is no misunderstanding, but she will think the best way to do that is to return TZ back to YY and let him fulfil his responsibilities of keeping the 3 realms peaceful. She will decide the best way to love him is to protect and love him from a distance, she understands and doesn’t want to get in his way anymore.
But then YY will return and he won’t accept that. He will bravely, in a TZ like manner pursue her and then I will get all the happiness back in my life!

I watched one of the fan videos which predicts she will be dying when YY returns, so he takes her to the heavenly realm to be cured. And Zhi Xi gives her half of her heart. But I thought ZX gave the emperor half of her heart to get him out of a coma? Or did she just give her heart blood? 🤷🏻♀️
These two episodes were amazing. I’ve never seen such character growth in a drama. YD herself is pushing TZ/YY towards the path of greater good. And she forgives him 🥹 So SO happy.
And I have to admit I didn’t care much for TZ’s backstory and his Shi fu before, and most xian xia doesn’t explore it to be honest. But seeing TZ at his shi fu’s grave was heartbreaking, and seeing his responsibility and bond towards his sisters and brothers makes you really understand how hard it is to be TZ, how loved he is, and how much his life before YD meant to him. (I know lots of people here are huge fans of AoL, so apologies beforehand for the comparison! but it always bothered me that when Xu Feng was king in the mortal realm his personality wasn’t any different, and he didn’t feel burdened by a sense of responsibility or seem to have any close ties. At the end he just committed suicide and left his kingdom. It felt like the writers were just giving him a chance to do what he couldn’t in the godly realm but didn’t offer him any character growth.)
The last part is beautiful 🥺 TZ says to YD ‘Wouldn’t it be wonderful if time could stop and I could live in this moment forever.’ And YD says (excuse my happy tears 🥹😭😭😭) ‘when you’re with me, every moment is wonderful.’
It looks like the actual date they went on, but if they make TZ pass out mid-date and I find out this is a dream I’ll trash my tv!!
