makes me think the show will take a hiatus. I hope I’m wrong. That ending was so annoying! How could she simultaneously realise YY loves her and yet leave me so distraught and unhappy by deciding she’s done with him?

YD says YY was always lying to her. But I don’t think she’s mad, I think she means he was lying that he didn’t love her (I can’t tell the order of the clips). I think our collective manifesting has worked! The misunderstanding doesn’t last long!

As an aside, surely if you’re that hot and you have wavy white hair it is impossible to go incognito? Someone must have mentioned to the heavenly palace that the demon king has a supreme level of hotness and has godlike white hair. I mean, I would mention that straight away, haha.

OMG! I just watched the trailer and realised what everyone is on about. It’s cured my sadness! Xuan Ye kicks it out of the ballpark. I have a weakness for hot evil guys 😂

I didn’t realise Xuan Ye would have a whole storyline. I thought he was just in the flashbacks. I’m so excited we get so much Xuan Ye - with different hair and outfit changes (love the hair up too). And somehow the fact he’s not with YD doesn’t jar for me. He’s convincing in that physically he doesn’t look like either TZ or YY and the way he acts and speaks is completely different. He looks really sly and calculating. I do think I will like Ran Qing, I do not hate her on sight. She’s neither cutesy cutesy or delicate looking.

But that hair! Cheng Yi’s hairdresser must be a wizard because his hair is magic.

At the very least he does know she would have died if it wasn’t for YY. I’m so miserable, this show has become central to my happiness, haha.

Can’t anyone - mainly the guard at the river who is showing her the memory in the mirror - just explain to YD that YY only erased her memory so she could cross the river and wouldn’t die?!!!! Please! Just tell her that YY loves her and just wanted her to be alive and happy because the alternative is she dies and he has to stand by and watch her die when he could have saved her.

I’m deflated by ep 38 and the post below saying the past two episodes had not enough CP interaction. That and the fact the mortal arc looks like it’s going to end in anguish, with YD thinking YY doesn’t love her and TZ dying. So sad.
