I dropped Goblin too it did feel like it was more forced not natural at all, I've seen Gong Yoo in Coffee…
i liked her in arang and the magistrate and she didnt annoy me in Oh My Venus but in general in find her hit or miss, often miss and her range is pretty limited.
Only addressing Goblin.. not going to address the others. The funny relationship between the Goblin and the Grim…
when i met my husband i was 20 and he was 34. we just had our 13th anniversary. so i dont think it's odd. also, if k-drama has taught me anything it's that you don't have to be all up on someone's jock to have chemistry with them. Sexual chemistry and romantic chemistry are not the same thing, though this pairing lacked both to me.
lol, two of the shows on your list are among my favourites :D ... but I guess people have different tastes and…
i do enjoy romance but it's not a deal breaker for me. Imagine though you were watching a show about a singer and they guy they had playing him was tone deaf, or a person playing a chef who looked terrified of a stove.
Bless your heart! I feel like I need to go check your list and see what you did like :) thanks for sharing! I…
i'm certainly not the authority on what makes a good drama. My list isnt all that enlightening because i rate on how much i enjoyed something, which can lead me to give pretty high ratings to objectively craptastic shows like Mary Stayed Out All Night.
I agree with everything you said! I really liked this drama, though I rated it an 8 I think because it did feel…
i think Secret Garden is in general over rated. Don't get me wrong it's a fun watch the first time through as long as you don't think about it like at all. A lot of his work that i've seen is like that, not every role can be challenging and phenomenal but the Oppa Girls love him so he could star in a middle school production of The Suessical and they would rate it a 10 lol.
in the US only free over the air TV and radio stations are subject to the FCC rules. this is actually a really small slice of the tv pie. everything else is self regulated which usually boils down to what advertisers will allow.
is it similar in korea or is ALL tv subject to the kcsc rules?
Agree with everything except #6. I think it might be a general Asian thing to take screaming/ yelling from bosses/…
yes, their culture is built on a system of seniority, but often in dramas they show characters not just taking the abuse and moving on but accepting the blame and consequences for others, failing to defend themselves or explain a misunderstanding and even defending the aggressor and rationalizing the behavior. this is obviously an idealized response to being fired because a lunatic assaulted you because you followed company policy.
letting people treat you like crap is not, in my opinion, a question of mental fortitude. yes, we all get reamed at work from time to time, but being hit crosses the line into the realm of the illegal.
