if you watch the animated adaptation they walked right up to the censorship line and poked it. HARD. the argument could be made that it was more in your face than The Untamed. which is why i think the drama adaptation has been shoved in a dark corner. the powers that be know they can censor it all they want, but at the end of the day it's still very obviously a love story.

I wasnt a huge fan of the cells either but they are a big part of the source material throughout so I'd expect they will continue to play a big part.

a character can have multiple motivations. the show chose to do 20+ eps that focused heavily on CTJ's family objecting to the relationship and CTJ feeling obligated to bow to those objections despite his feelings. they obviously wanted the viewer to know that was one of his motivations.

i have not bashed the writer at all. i have condemned the PRACTICE of sharing unsubstantiated rumors and asked that it be stopped and this article removed.

i'm not going to split hairs about who is at fault in an ecosystem that feeds on stripping basic human dignity. the companies market the talent as products not people, the news outlets stalk them for clicks, the internet spreads it all around for clicks. and why BECAUSE IT"S FUN. it makes the companies money and the fans think it's fun.

at some point it's individuals deciding that they either will or will not engage in this practice or consume it's results. at some point you have to look at yourself and ask if you think your entertainment is more valuable than the well being of a celebrity.

1st, not all celebrities are fabulously wealthy. i'm not sure there is any amount of money that makes stalking and harassment ok. 2nd. there are many horrible things that have always been that way or were done for centuries, then we learned, we got better.

being stalked and having your private life splashed across the internet and speculated about is detrimental to to a person's mental health, hence the large number of celebrities who suffer from depression, anxiety and other related mental health disorders.

since we know this has a serious negative impact on mental health, why would we participate in it?

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin chose to release information about their private lives. they chose what to release, where to release it and when to do so.

that article was not baseless speculation about information the actors had not made public.

just b/c society has conditioned you to believe you have the right to a person's private information b/c of their job doesn't make it right.

you could use a similar line of thinking to justify invading the privacy of just about anyone with a job. my daughter's doctor lives a very comfortable life b/c patients and insurance companies pay her well. am i entitled to know who she's dating? am i entitled to follow her around and spread rumors about her?

i suspect if you were the one being stalked and people were spreading rumors about you that could negatively effect your career prospects you would think that was a pretty big deal.

i've been here 11 years and i complain EVERY SINGLE TIME a rumor article is published. just b/c society has normalized stalking celebrities and invading their privacy doesn't make it ok.

please STOP posting rumors. Asian celebrities are literally killing themselves and this kind of bullshit is part of the problem.

Mydramalist should be better than this. there should be a rule against publishing articles about celebrities private lives other than statements the celerity makes through official channels or other verifiable sources. if there is a scandal that involves criminal activity, ONLY official statements from those involved and statements from law enforcement should be published.

every time something like this gets put on the website it is MDL reinforcing the idea that it is acceptable to spread unsubstantiated rumors about people's private lives no matter the possible consequences, as long as they are celebrities.

if MDL user A was spreading MDL user B's private information all over the website that would not be acceptable. this isnt acceptable either . STOP IT
