i've always wondered about #3. I mean are people over there just overly fragile or am I just a mf hulk or…
i heard an explanation of how fan death can be a real thing once. it goes something like this.
basically it's usually elderly drunk people and it's summer time. a lot of old people in korea dont run the AC even if they have it so it's HOT and they are old and drunk and turn on a fan in a closed up room b/c you dont sleep with the door/ window open either, so the fan is just circulating the hot air and basically just turns the room into a big convection oven and they old drunk person dies of dehydration. it's plausible.
Do I exfoliate enough? HA. Nice. Yes. I question that. I can answer about how they afford nice phones though.…
here in the US we have the same thing where you can get a phone practically for free but the contract service plans are really expensive.i think 72,000 won (about $72 us i think?) is REALLY expensive for a single line. i have a no contract phone that only costs $15 a month for everything (talk text 4g) but i had to buy the phone. Which you can also get pretty cheap if you don't want the newest latest coolest thing
So much this! Every single one of these is spot on. Especially the last one. I can't even count how many…
at least it's not just me. someone starts screaming in my face i have ZERO chill. maybe it's an american thing b/c here if someone hits you you are allowed to hit them back and there will be no legal consequences as long as you don't use excessive force. in all the dramas it seems like you be in just as much trouble as the person who started the fight.

the whole "don't sleep on the floor/couch/ whatever or you'll get sick" cracks me up. if that were true i'd be dead. i used to have korean neighbors, the mom used to tell me not to fall asleep with the fan on, cuz fan death is a thing. i looked at her cross eyed "Ahjumma, i've been sleeping with a fan pointed directly at my face for 30 years. i aint dead yet."
hahahaha I totally understand you! the fisrt thing I started to pay attention in asian dramas was skin treatment...…
i've heard from multiple sources that in Korea there is really one beauty standard. there's a list of attributes that are considered perfect the closer you are and more of them you have the more attractive you are considered.
this is very different from the west where what is considered attractive is mostly down to personal preference.
on the subject of suits, have you seen the korean version of fated to love you? Choi Jin Hyuk had some straight up pimp suits in that.!!! where does one ever procure a marigold suit? or one with a hand draw grid pattern???
I wish I knew the Asian secret of anti-aging. Also, how are they all so slim and beautiful?! What do they eat?…
i used to work at a Chinese restaurant. once the owner ( a wonderful Chinese lady) came in and my manager wished her a happy birthday. She said she was 60. i almost choked on my fried rice. "but Xia Ling," i says "you barely look 40!" she pointed one expertly manicured finger at me and said. "Avoid sun, good lotion, don't smoke and" she leaned in for effect "NEVER SLEEP IN MAKE UP!" words to live by.
