this was the first highly popular gender bender story in North America. As the writer is from North America they arent in a position to say if Mulan was the 1st popular gender bender in other parts of the western world, and they obivoulsy know that these sorts of stories were popular in the eastern world long before Disney's Mulan. i took the "we all" to mean all of us north americans. maybe it was just a poorly articulated idea?
i think a long review is fine. the people clicking the "unhelpful button" are generally doing so because they disagree with you and can't imagine that the opinions of those who disagree with them could have merit.
personally i like a longer review, especially if it's negative, that way i can see what it was this particular person didn't like which better informs my choice in deciding whether or not to watch something.
for example had i not seen this before your point about all the talking that is just there as filler would be important to me, b/c i don't like that either. your point about the lead actress bombing the generbender this is also informative because that wouldn't bother me.
your longer review is, therefore, in my opinion much more helpful than
"OMG Lee Joon Ki oppa is so HAWT!!!!! 10's all around!!!"
i'm surprised at the amount of screen time he has been getting as the second lead. i feel like we've seen more of him than Jung Il Woo. that might shift soon though. maybe once it does you'll be able to drop it lol.
has anyone else notice that Ahn Hae Hyeon has amazing hands? i don't swoon over him in general but his hands are ....wow.
yea, if you dont like it so far you probably shouldn't waste your time. it is what it is and i dont think it's going to veer off into left field anytime soon.

the stylist needs a raise. not only do the cloths suit Lee Jong Suk perfectly the color and patterns work so well in the W world to give him that manhwa pop.
