I thought Gong Yoo was in this show, which is why i avoided it for so long. After seeing that he wasnt in it,…
i dont have a problem with her performance. with her hair it's not that it's curly or fluffy, it's that it's unkempt. it looks like it hasn't been brushed (and possibly like it could use a wash) and she looks sweaty. i think this is a type of make up they use, i've seen it in dramas before and i find it really distracting b/c all i can think is "ewww sweaty, go wash your face!"
I beg to disagree..Most K-drama kissing scenes are awkward... I like T-drama kissing scenes more, that is if I…
that awkward romantic moment is no respecter of nationality, but i must say that from your average not supposed to be "mature" drama the taiwanese have steamier kisses.
while i wasnt happy about the ending i dont think it was so much of a cliff hanger as you had to be paying attention. they basically went over every moment of the Da Hua/Terry relationship in flash backs. showing that they were still thinking about each other. Guan Jun on the other hand wasnt a huge part of it and what we did see was pretty much big brother territory, with his parts in the finally just basically wrapping up his character. Dua Hau and Terry both said they would "meet again" if it was their fate. Da hua looked absolutely over the moon to see him on the plane.so to me it seems to indicate that she did in fact chose terry. i also postulate that there is a possiblilty that whatever mandarin phrase is being translated as "if it's our fate,we'll meet again" might have a different connotaion to native speakers and might suggest a more inimate/romantic meeting.

that would be awesome, any ideas for any other smouldery villians worthy of a place in that album?
i think the biggest crime commited here was that they realized what they had with the Da Hua/ Terry relationship too late in the game to develop it in a satisfying way.
yea, i think she's going to end up with guan jun for 3 reasons 1. childhood love, in drama land it's better than…
i think i'm thinking what you're thinking. but if i were gaun jun i dont know if i'd want a chick that was about to marry another guy, even if that dude only proposed to try to get the other two back together.

it's funny how much we complain aobut 2nd lead syndrome and girls always ending up with the rich dude, but not that it's not going to happen we're all upset!
i do not generally watch "family" dramas. i find they tend to turn the drama knob up to 100 just to so they have something to fill up all those episodes with and there are so many side stories that just arent that interesting. i dont feel that here. the writers of Soon Shin have taken the longer run to do something practically unheard of, develop character relationships in a semi believable way and give side stories the depth and development they deserve.

i had NOT seen that, goodness gracious!MMM thank you!
yea, i think she's going to end up with guan jun for 3 reasons
1. childhood love, in drama land it's better than prophecy
2. Guan Jun hasnt done anything unforgivable yet. at this point he's just a guy that did something supid out of a lack of confidence. it's not his fault that Chris Wu and the chick playing Da Hua have chemistry for days.
3. at this point to choose terry would seem out of character for Da Hua. sure, she seems to like him a bit but she's been a very virtuous character thus far, to give up and choose terry in the space of a single episode would not fit with the Da Hua they have presented.
