I need more Bailu

Months after this ended but I couldn't find new dramas that as good as this. Maybe we're just entering 2024 so more dramas to be released. Still, this kind of good AND memorable drama only come once every 3-4 years.

The perfect depiction of man of service of all dramas I've watched.

My personal opinion, the ML has more chemistry with a mature co-star and fits more in a mature role. I mean he's aura carried differently & quite apparent.

Wow, Bai Lu looked so pretty in the preview pic and videos. She looked different (makeup wise) from her past dramas and love it for that.

Yes, Bai Lu always good in picking dramas (even some are debatable) but she seemed want to explore her acting genre. Plus, Chinese drama always great with these theme of drama and proven how its their niche. Excited for this.

Good plot for me. It's an interesting plot that evolves around the interpreter industry and I salute the Chinese industry for being able to be creative with its plots. I found the interpreter plots with the family and works engaging. Romance wise? It's a typical old flame troupe, a love-hate relationship but it was done nicely mainly cause the chemistry is sizzling. But Chinese modern office romance might have a prob with making it interesting until the 30 eps. I'm just gonna wait and see.

Yeah, she has a stadart for herself as an actress. The good side is her projects will be great but the downsides is she will act in less drama

And they make the FL a strong character but not overbearing?

Omg the chemistry is fire for real, like visually, and they look so compatible. I usually watch the ML dramas, and not every FL is compatible with him, but here, his expressions are totally different from his past dramas, and his aura and, in general both look great together! And the ML seemed to fit modern drama more tbh.

Missing Moon CHae Woon so much. I know she's quite choosy with the dramas she acts but hopefully, she'll be back with a great drama. She is always good with emotionally heavy characters & excited to see her act in more dramas.

Every ep ended with some monologue for viewers to interpret the intention of characters, with music to convey the emotional state without the director actually telling the true colour of the characters until the end of the drama. So, I understand why some x interested in this drama. Most people who love to interpret complex emotional state of people & 4d characters will absolutely love this.

Watching kdramas for more than 15 years, I would say this is a great melodrama. This is not a typical makjang like some people perceive, it has a more complex approach to characters, not like Penthouse makjang. Here, they are grey in characters, & flawed. Watching this a few times, I always understand the pov of each character differently. Not many directors are capable of making these kinda dramas anymore; the complexity of the approach in emotional aspects, not just some ridiculous plot executions as this drama approaches a lot on how viewers interpret the 'greyness' of characters through their emotions/facials. The director has always known for this.

Omg same. The feeling invoked by only some dramas which SOKP successfully executes.

I'm currently watching Bail Lu in One & Only. Omg, BL has a great range of acting skills. This woman literally can act in any genre and embody any type of character. Such an amazing actress.

This just showed that the drama plot is amazing, esp the plot wise that they can even expand them to more than 40 eps. Most dramas we felt that its enough even at 30 eps but SOKP has great premise plut great leads
