Im planning to watch this just for Bai LU. I'm not a fan of the ml that's why I haven't watched it yet but from the reviews, I should really give this drama a shot.

Heard from those who watched this that its good. Love2 Lee Se young and so excited to start this show!

Few episodes are great untill they bring the typical Korean drama plot towards the end.

Im trying my best with the first two eps, hopefully its getting better.

After watching too many Chinese dramas, this drama seemed to lack so many things; plot-wise, the character's execution and the CG are also not that good. One thing with this kind of drama, you need to have great plots and good execution of plots. The actors are great, can't deny that, but the drama is just plain for a great premise.

Same SOKP was amazing! and excited for this drama too.

The costumes looked great at last; they are something different from her past dramas, costume-wise.

Is the novel good? I love Bailu and so far, her dramas are mostly great. Hopefully, this drama can help her carrier growth since from the sypnosis, it's kinda typical plot-wise?

Yes, the sister story made me remember Red Sleeve, kdrama on how sad is the life of concubine is, & how heartbroken is the women.

can be both. WXY, was seen to act shady despite his persona as the most trusted person of the Emperor which ZZ caught fast. Even though XW knew how ZZ will caught his scheme, XW still didn't do anything to ZZ cause XW needed someone like ZZ, smart and always acted on a good cause in his plan. & is not weird if ZZ reports his suspicions to the emperor since ZZ was seen as an upright person/loyal subject of the Emperor. I think how ZZ considered XW's intention was mostly the fact that XW numerous time helped the Yan family, while Xue family plotted many bad things against Yan family. This actually created some perceptions of ZZ towards XW's intentions and what XW stands for even though his scheming might be against ZZ's belief. Plus, the Xue family was seen as the evil group that had the probability to move a rebellion while intending to wipe off the Yan family.

Yes, of course! It's always fun to have some insights into the characters on this site esp a good show line SOKP is. And since it's a reverse Harem, all 2ml is important to the story and the main character :)

Yes, some might x see ZZ perspectives. But even Jiang who was closer to XW, was in dilemma to see the goodness in XW and has to see from all his actions at the end that he's indeed not at all bad. So what more to an upright person like ZZ. XW survived by schemes so he's actually the most complex person for all the people around him to trust including ZZ, someone who's smart & didnt know XW background (which can be reasons for ZZ understand WY better like XW friends). Yet, despite that, ZZ still at the end, somehow believed that XW did all that for a reason. So I would say ZZ is good execution of character, contradict to XW yet compliment the story.

That was too at first but at the end, he saw the reasons for his actions and did see that there was more to XW than just a man with an evil scheme. He did made his judgment.

Some might dislike ZZ due to his B&W ways of thinking but I have a friend exactly like him. They actually lack emotional intelligence, which is a big factor in people see different perspectives. But these people actually are good at heart & they can actually change their way of thinking despite the hard work in injecting perspectives in them & they're crazy smart, too. Like ZZ, in the end, he understands XW due to Jiang's words & even XW's proven actions. Even though from the start, he x believes XW, he still never takes steps to harm XW despite his logic that XW is not a good person. For me, he's not that bad. He also weighed the good & harm of XW's actions (their B&W ways of thinking), and he can see more good in them, which he did to decide on his choices. Yes, in reality, he won't survive in this drama, which is what happened in their first life but changed in the second life due to a change of perspectives.
