Something about Dilbara, like she acted to look pretty? Many actress are pretty, but when acting, they can embrace the character, change their persona based on the characters, & get out of their pretty image well. If Dilbara can't do this meaning, she's just x good with acting.
Omg same. I made this drama as a benchmark & i became so choosy in watching this genre.
I would say Bad guys & stranger, with great executions of plots plus good acting. Stranger closer to Signal. Bad guys its a thriller mystery with great line of actors, super great plots too. Voice 2,3 also good for me even not perfect, something that kept me on my toes with the plots. One thing with detective dramas, is execution of plots is the most important thing and most drama failed at that. some mostly mediocre.
I hope I can watch this but FL voice is personally ruining it. That's why they have dub yet x use for this. Now I understand why voice projection, articulation, and direction matter for actors. But I will give this drama a try cause I'm sure it's promising plot-wise. The cinematography is also nice.

True, I thought im the only one who noticed that. she's pretty but so do other actresses but from her acting, she focused so much on looking pretty. Other pretty actresses seemed to have flavours in acting, but not her. She has to drop that persona for her to actually personify the character she carries.

ZLH acted quite well with a man with a grey personality. Some actors might take the non-expressive routes of expression, but ZLH was surprisingly good tbh. He literally carried his longing with Niang from the first ep, just by his gaze. Whoever can manifest a slow-burn romance for me is a good actor esp with SOKP. Their romance started In ep 30 but still, he manifested his emotions from ep 1. I can mention other current male popular actors that can't even carry what ZLH carried.
Plot-wise, this drama is capable of hvg S2, even from the political plot alone. The execution of ALL characters is good to the extent, that it is not skippable at all.
Cause the ending, showed how he commited suicide, while questioning who is his real self. Whats lead the suicide?
That's such a tragic end. To think that XW did love Jiang but she never noticed that. And for him to carry the burden of his feeling until he commit suicide...
