What happened b/w ML & 2FL??2FL cheated on him right??
At first when Joon was pushed for promotion and became famous, 2FL left the agency with JJ as they felt they were treated unfairly. Initially all 3 were planning to go together but Joon felt pity for his boss and stayed instead. At this point 2FL was still Joon’s girlfriend yet left with another man.
JJ became bitter that Joon “betrayed” their friendship and planned to totally break Joon’s heart, reason for which he was invited to the party, to see him and 2FL as a couple.
Did she cheat? You can’t properly see in the series if they were properly together as there are no kissing scenes shown but from the scene where he stays on her lap you can understand that they were beginning something when she left Joon and soon after became JJ’s girlfriend. They were basically in love and spending a lot of time together before she made her choice.
I call it cheating but Joon called it “not being able to protect the woman he loved”. He basically blamed himself for the fact that she dumped him. In Hyung was right to keep her away because she broke his heart..I guess she regretted her decision after but it was too late. She didn’t actually know what she wanted herself..it felt like she was using JJ while still in love with Joon

I finished this series and although compared to the other parts it had a lot of weird storylines and the ending a bit meh..I was still involved in watching it until the end.

It seems that the sequence is different from the webtoon and the characters have more backstory..It’s interesting to compare..I do hope it keeps to its ending though..

I didn’t read the novel for The Legends so I have no material to compare it to. I watched and enjoyed. The FL, when she first saved Mo Qing and shared her thoughts about creating the sect, she had a vision of having a safe place for people which were less fortunate. She expressed her wish to protect them. As she fought more and more sect, she became thirsty for power and forgot her initial plan. She herself couldn’t care less about her own sect..let’s not forget the night she set it on fire and seduced him.
Mo Qing remained as loyal to her as the first moment she saved him. She couldn’t even remember what she did to him or the necklace. He loved her despite that and wanted her safe. His guilt for her disappearance made him do all thise changes to the sect as that was her initial dream. To say that he killed her people after she disappeared? She was selfish and couldn’t care less of who died. She changes after she comes back and realised that Mo Qing always wanted to help her. He is a character I absolutely love.
Love of Dream was interesting in my opinion as the FL does a lot of stupid things in the name of “repaying debt” while the ML tried to keep a distance as he was “older”. It’s quite obvious that she fell in love and she humiliates herself again and again just so she could get her Dijun’s attention. ML in this series is quite infuriating as he shows small signs to let her approach him only to push her away. When he finally does the step, there’s no turning back. You hear him saying it himself, he wanted to give back to her but as his name wasn’t on the stone, their love is doomed. I’m not really a fan of him but I enjoyed the novel and I liked the little princess as I felt pity for her.
Compared to these two series and others I’ve watched over the years, Love Poetry’s story seems a bit boring. I like the characters and I do want to watch it until the end but it’s lacking in my eyes as not much is happening. It’s all about taste as I said so people don’t have to agree with me..
It’s a good series but I wouldn’t say that it’s better than Love of Dream. As much as I love Xu Kai (have seen almost all his series) this one is lacking a bit. At the end of the day, it’s all about taste..watch a few episodes and decide yourself if it’s better for you..
If I would have to pick Xu Kai’s best xianxia I’ve seen..The Legend is my favorite.
While my favorite of all I’ve watched remains The Untamed.
In the end she will chose Yuwen Yue, but really the drama has a tragic incompleted end for people who didn't read…
In the novel he is saved from the lake by his men and he prepares his revenge while everyone thinks he’s dead. When they do meet up, there’s a lot of flirting going on, they get together and their scenes are quite sweet. You could say that time apart did them good..Too bad that they didn’t get to film until the end of the novel..

It ends with a cliffhanger as there was supoosed to be a season 2 which they couldn’t film due to copyright issues. My recommandation is after you finish the series, read the novel as the 2nd part would’ve been really fun. The novel is really good, too bad that they didn’t film all.

The first guy she dates is good at manipulation, humiliation and gaslighting. The fact that he’s also a cheater seems like the cherry on top so you would expect that after such a relationship she would have learned her lesson.
JE appears at a time when she is vulnerable emotionally but she already has experience of dating an asshole so it’s easy for her to see the similar pattern. So what does she do when she sees it? Instead of following her head and staying away, she does what most of us would do..risk it all, think that she’s special and that she’ll change him.
He looks well messed up in the head starting with his obsession with butterflies (his art is butterflies, his pets are butterflies, his tattoo, his avatar, his drawing on the girl he is interested in, his lighter, etc) He’s also fascinated by the fact that her name is Nabi. It’s like a game of push and pull..He’s good looking and will pull you in but if you get too close, he will push you away.
I didn’t even see the 2nd ML and I’m already rooting for him to save the girl from the toxic relationship she just entered willingly.
After 3 episodes I can already tell this series will be a rollercoaster ride. Nabi, Jae Eon and Bitna are characters which you can find around you. You might be one of them as well.
Nabi is the typical girl who thinks that because there is sexual attraction, she can change the principles of the man next to her. She tries to find clues that he will commit. This is a toxic way of thinking because you expect from people more than they’re willing to give although they’ve set the rules clearly since the beginning. She knows who he is and how he is with other girls yet she wants to feel special and this can end up in a horrible way for her as she gets more and more invested.
Jae Eon is the typical guy with commitment issues. He’s good looking, knows what to say to make you feel great and will be the best partner you ever had as he has experience in bed. He sets rules as soon as you meet and if you don’t follow, you’re the only one to blame. Most likely his ex messed him up and now all he enjoys is casual flirting. He may show signs here and there but will he actually change?!
I want to curse him out as he hits home on how his character is similar to the guy that messed me up with his push and pull game but as much as I was a “Nabi” with someone, I was a “Jae Eon” with another person as well. Also my best friend was a “Bitna” as she enjoyed casual relationships and slept around with no strings attached. She’s now married with kids but I will forever be thankful for her advices as she always saw men as they were but “I knew better”.

I was Nabi and thought I could change someone and it left me as an emotional wreck and when I “woke up”, I was transformed into a cold sarcastic person who couldn’t trust people. Because of it I became Jae Eon to an ex who wanted to be with me sincerely. Instead of committing to the relationship I set the rule to be s*x friends so I could still flirt around.
A person pulled me out from that state but it wasn’t the ex as much as he wanted. I just met a person who was messed up as well and what was supposed to be casual for both started a rollercoaster of feelings we thought we forgot.
Even now, after so many years, I have moments when I ask myself if I’m truly in love or I like the feeling of being loved.
Relationships are not all white and black, many will be rollercoaster rides from which you will suffer, learn and become stronger. As you grow up emotionally, you will meet different kind of people and you will change as well. You will become more mature and hopefully you won’t repeat the same mistakes.

I didn’t expect this series to be so much fun..I started it just to see why it was popular and now I’m hooked. I’ve been following Xu Kai’s works for years now and he’s becoming better and better..
