i love jue mei, but mu mu is the mvp :))

i started this because of Zhou Ye! unfortunately, i found the first two episodes difficult to watch (it was slooOoo0ow and the topic of dubbing isn't really interesting to me) so i stopped. after watching ski into love, i needed something trope-less to cleanse my drama palate. i decided to give this another chance.

i'm so glad i did. the pace is the same and the story is far from exciting, but i LOVE ~the characters~ around the main leads. i particularly enjoy watching macho man Jue Mei become all dorky around Xiao Xing.

i second the best thing! it's my fave drama this year :) unfortunately, ski into love has a break-up that lasts four episodes.

hidden love is also another fave! put your head on my shoulder is also okay.

omg at one point i thought i needed to check my blood pressure because i was feeling lightheaded while watching. lol.

honourable mention to the rejected yiming!

i expected this would be mid from the beginning, so i was able to enjoy watching it for what it was: purely entertainment . . . at least until episode 17. from then on, i found myself just waiting to rant about it here. lol. i'm tired of ranting so here are the things i liked (and still do) about it: the snowboarding friends (everyone needs a bei ci & hua yan in their friend group), shan shan & dai duo, and the secret comic. :)) overall, a 7-7.5 drama for me that could've been at most an 8.

that's so unfortunate bec it is called "ski into love", but that only mostly happened at the beginning. lol.

ugh. i'm glad i just waited for all the eps to come out before watching it again since the breakup. i was really enjoying the show up to that point. they could've focused on their careers even without actually breaking up.

i know he gets better, but i really do not like Qi Meng Lin's overzealous chivalry. he can be so intrusive.

in my mind, this was a short 28-episode drama, but omg it's even shorter!

nooooooooo :( 3-4 is A LOT considering how many are left. i skipped til the end of 17 (i don't think i missed anything worthwhile) and only skimmed 18. at this point, i also don't feel like watching until everything is out.

noble idiocy is still idiocy. like, there is enough conflict with their careers to keep the show moving. they didn't need this trope. ugh.

it's really a waste of episodes!!!!!!! and there's not even a lot left.

i'm so annoyed. this trope is so overdone.

i didn't realise there are only a few episodes left!!! ugh i hope they don't drag the thing with the parents and that there is no break up :( today's episode was heartwarming until her parents showed up.

i was enjoying them being all lovey dovey and spending time with their friends, consciously trying to ignore the impending conflict with her mother. -_- i hope there really is no breakup and that they deal with the issue fast. now that she has her team and he's decided to go back to compete, i want to focus on that.

so happy Yi Ming isn't petty and vindictive
