Title Doctor Stranger Spoiler
Oh come on! you blame the actress? Hello she just follow what the director and writer instruction, before you…
Ok it was the director and writer's fault for how they created her character and the story. But I still didn't quite like her acting here.

Please don't accuse me as a troll spreading negativity on a actress in her works. I just happened to find some of her dramas interesting that got me hooked to watched it where she was starring in them. People are allowed to have opinions. Not every negative opinion is because this person is a troll bashing an actor's performance.

I dropped this after episode 11 but if anyone has seen the whole thing, I'd like to know some answers to questions I have. Do they ever explain what exactly happened after Jae Hee got shot and fell into the river? Why/How did Park Hoon end up in a South Korea prison? How did Jae Hee's body get found and sent back to the North? Why wasn't she killed by them? Do they give more backstory of how they fall in love or not?

Title Doctor Stranger Spoiler
I have dropped it after episode 11. My main issues were the romance, plot holes, and the pacing.

For the romance part, I blame the writing and maybe the actress of the FL. The SFL Soo Hyun asks the ML Park Hoon why do you love the FL Jae Hee. His answer is because of her smile. I'm ok with this response if the drama was more of a less stakes/chill rom com drama but not for this. There should be more of a deeper connection expressed for why they love each other. Park Hoon and his father were forced to live in North Korea after their country abandoned/left them there. My idea I had expressed was show flashback scenes of Jae Hee being that special person who was there to protect/help him adjust living in North Korea. Show him struggle adjusting to living there. Have him get picked on or feel left out but she reaches out to him. Maybe this was implied that we have to already know and they don't show it. But why am I supposed to care/root for them to reunite again as a couple if you don't give much backstory of why they love each other. There is a scene of them meeting as kids in the hospital I think where he gives her the bracelet. But after the time skip when the main actors arrive, these two are already a couple lovey dovey.

Part of me feels suspicious of Jae Hee and if she is just playing along with Park Hoon's feelings. I know she is a spy and working with the guy from the North. But she doesn't show emotions of afraid or being tearful when threaten by the north spies. When they are gonna let go of Park Hoon, she doesn't shout his name, ask if he is ok, tell them to let them go.... Maybe it seems like she has a high ranking in the North but how? Didn't they want to punish/kill her because of her father was from a communist party? Even if she is being threatened to be used as a spy, she should be a pawn following the comrade's order showing some signs of despair from the threats he makes.

I felt like this drama was gonna drag on until we get to the surgery on the prime minister. Park Hoon had just won the competition at the hospital and Seung Hee reveal she is Jae Hee to him. They tried to run away but are captured. He is then told by the north he has to win the competition to be the one to operate on the prime minister possibly to botch it and kill him. They threaten him that they are always watching him so he can't escape. At the hospital they extend the competition to a best of 3 where one side has to win 2 of the surgeries by completing it faster than the other all due to the SML being a sore loser and filling time. The 2 leads are back together but stuck there until the PM's surgery and think of a way to fight against the North's spies.

I have seen 6 episodes so far. The romance between Park Hoon and Jae Hee feels weak. So far the reason he cherishes her is for her smile. I hope they explain more reasons why he loves her than that. I think he could say he loves for her smile because when he was forced to live in North Korea, he was afraid and sad. But her presence there helped cheer him up and feel comfortable adjusting to living there. Without her, he could say he would be alone. I want more backstory of why I should root for them to reunite happily in love.

I'm considering this but from reading the description and seeing clips, did they really have to make the ML come from rich wealthy background. Why can't he be blind with the normal life and she be the rich one.

Title My Unfortunate Boyfriend Spoiler
I dropped this after episode 13. After episode 9, the writing became questionable/dumb. Let's start with the FL…
Besides the writing for the romance, there was also the writing for the plot. Guess what, the plot reveals connect the 2 leads to each other after all! Yep they aren't just two strangers who randomly met that will fall in love. I am shaking my head.

These plot reveals aren't even that strong or interesting. It just felt forced to connect everyone together like why. Tae Woon's parents died in a car accident. The way it happened doesn't seem believable. Little Tae Woon wants to fly his kite out the car window for his father who is driving to look back at him then looks forward to see a oncoming vehicle which he avoids but the car flips upside down. Can writers at least be more creative and believable in writing off the leads parents?

Ji Na's father was the creator of some business but the company that Tae Woon's father worked at was gonna steal the idea which they did. Tae Woon's father takes his family on a drive to Ji Na's family to apologize. They are rejected so on the way back his parents died in the car accident. Tae Woon also had a uncle who is the chairman of the company in the present. He wants Tae Woon to take over the company one day. But Ji Na is............... funny enough working at the company that stole her father's idea. It's revealed Tae Woon has this behavior because he didn't want to move on from his parents death so he has this child like behavior still.

They shifted from the fun fluff moments between the leads to focus in on the plot reveal and company business. I really wished they wouldn't make them have the cliche past connection/tie everything together trope. I think they should have make them a couple officially at the mid point. Then have her help him move on from his parents death and grow while still keeping some of his puppylike character. Don't have him be connected to her work life.

This drama should have been more of a fun fluff/healing drama together without the office drama bs. Like he has past issues he needs to overcome while she would have current issues she faces. Together they make a unlikely couple that heals each other slowly and fun.

Episode 9 is a great end point of this drama because everything after that was a mess/not as good as the first…
I dropped this after episode 13. After episode 9, the writing became questionable/dumb.

Let's start with the FL Ji Na. I know they weren't a couple yet but they were/going to be. The SML Hee Chul asks her to choose between him or the ML Tae Woon. She has spent all of her time with the Tae Woon many interactions and moments. I was expecting the predicatable scene of her leaning towards the SML until she remembers the precious moments Tae Woon cherished with her but no. She rejected him and then went out with Hee Chul to the point she kissed him. During this time Tae Woon was preparing to surprise her with a celebration at his flower shop as he waited.

She doesn't show up at all and she only then finds out when she takes him home as he is drunk. I did not see the end of this drama but I can tell they'll probably end up together but this decision just turned me away. It's like she is two timing the leads. The points why she would choose the SML at this point aren't strong enough. Because he's good looking and with a high power wealthy career? But she has spent little to no interactions with him that in dramas mean they don't get chosen. I get it if she was pressured or forced to reject the ML but not if she rejected him to go with the SML who has not earned it. Dumb character for falling into the hands of a antagonist. I know it's a way they can have the 2 leads not be together until the end since they don't want them to be together yet.

I think it was alright for the first 10 episodes maybe. I'm putting it on hold after episode 12. I feel like at this point the drama already peaked for me. They got married in a contract marriage. Then they got used to each other already in their married life. The ML friend who loves him comes back and is causing some trouble.

I think they will just drag it out with fluff scenes between them, deal with this sfl, and or a breakup between the leads only to forgive and reunite. Eh nothing else interesting for me for now. Maybe later on I'll come back to finish this up.

I have only seen 4 episodes but it has got me laughing. This drama needs the comedy tag. So far there is often let's just say intimate jokes that could make you step away from the drama. I don't mind the jokes. I like best of this so far is the ML is like a cute dumb puppy(kind/caring) and not some rich ceo/boss.

You should give it a try and then decide to keep watching or not after two or three (or less?) episodes lol As…
I actually saw couple episodes and man the majority were right. Such a disappointing underwhelming drama. I dropped it. I had super high hopes because of Kame and Satomi.

I thought the ML was ok until the end of episode 1. He suddenly unleashed his frustrations of the hostel on her since she is the owner. I thought she would yell back but she just cried.

Then after learning about some information revealed, he turns around and gives her this fake creepy smile

I tried watching it for Lee Sung Gi and Han Hyo Joo but gave up 2 episodes in. I know it's a older drama but the rich jerk ass ML and poor struggling FL trope is so played out. I really wish writers would try a twist in this trope. Instead the SML I'd the rich jerk who changes but the ML is the nice caring one that wins instead of the jerk turned good.

Terrible drama. I regret giving this drama a second chance. I dropped at ep 18 even with only having 2 episodes left. I just couldn't take it anymore. I wished I dropped it earlier for good.

All of these characters are just unlikable. The ML is aggressive and has a bad bad temper. If they had ended the revenge stuff earlier and focused more on him being in the hospital getting treatment for the last couple episodes, maybe I would have liked it and finished it.

The doctor who knew about his illness that told people that weren't his family should be fired. It was so frustrating and ridiculous how the antagonists casually knew the ML had a terminal illness that he would die soon.
