Like I don't care about seeing the ML having to do the documentary and revealing he is the famous person they needed. The show was more enjoyable when he was living in the mountains and as the FL's husband. Typical breakup, annoying side characters, and boring plot to drag the show because of it having 24 episodes
Yes as others have said, the drama starts off good/interesting. Then it peaked but since it has 24 episodes total, it dragged and became boring/not fun to keep watching.
Literally stop watching around the 45 minute mark in episode 17 where he kisses Jae In. This is the best stop…
Quite fitting or a coincidence that the drama Bad Guy has a Bad ending.
Those last 15 minutes literally reversed all his revenge scheme. The wicked mother got bailed out of prison after everything he went through to send her to prison. Mo Ne shoots Gun Wook out of anger on the side of his stomach. He walks out and somehow far enough where no one sees him bleeding. He dies somewhere and they are unable to identify him, huh. That's so lame. The wicked mother is released suddenly from prison and her daughter killed someone but she doesn't know and won't be punished.
I heard they had to cut it shorter because of issues with the actor and military service. But this drama didn't even need to go longer. 16 episodes would have been fine. That's no excuse for this rushed bad ending. If you wanted him to die at the end, I'd rather they do the cliche he secretly has a illness where he dies. It would be better than having him die accidentally by Mo Ne who doesn't know and won't be punished.
I felt bad for both Tae Sung and they both were the best characters. Romance plot was uninteresting at all.
Literally stop watching around the 45 minute mark in episode 17 where he kisses Jae In. This is the best stop point for a happy/satisfying end.
Everything after that kiss scene went completely downhill and freaking awful. If you don't want to ever experience the terrible end, then follow my advice and stop at the 45 minute mark aka kiss scene.
I first saw him in The First Responders and loved his acting. He was perfect as Jindo Dog. It's gonna take me a while to get used to him in his other dramas in different characters as I will always think of him as Jindo Dog lol
So basically the drama starts off with their "parents" story then into their(the kids version) story. The 3 main actors play the characters of the parents and the kids which is a bit confusing to take in. Basically the ML and FL couldn't get together back then but with their kids now, they can. They're different characters but come on now, it's like they reincarnated or a different universe where they can get together.
A perfect movie for me. I adored the simple yet beautiful love story.
It had the melodrama I like, no rich ML, it started quick with the ML and FL meeting each other like 5 minutes into the movie, no forced breakups, and of course a happy ending. I thought that they would totally do a breakup where Chul Min feels guilty to love her after hearing how her parents died in the accident that of course connected to him. The guy he was beating up set fire to himself and jumped out of the building that causes Jung Hwa's to crash her car leading her to blindness/vision loss and her parents death.
See I thought after he won the underground fight to win the money for her operation, he would still break up with her feeling guilty. But turns out he got stabbed instead and his prize money/reward was stolen. Jung Hwa got her operation and could see again but didn't get to see Chul Min's face. He didn't break up/leave her on purpose, he got stabbed and we didn't know if he lived or not. Here I got nervous for a sad ending because I really adored this couple. The teases at the end, oh they were good.
After the time skip of 2 years, she mentions she is married but I think she said it to her coworker as a lie. She goes to a hospital to massage patient's bodies since she likes to volunteer to do that. On the same day she goes there, it is Chul Min in a hospital bed just transferred there. She goes to massage him as he recognized her but she didn't since she only knows his voice not face. He doesn't speak so she can recognize him. I think he still feels guilty if he did so she can be with him again. He was holding onto the pebble that reminded of her through the massage.
He went to her shop to buy night jasmine( I think it is a reference to something earlier in the movie but I forgot). He also took a jar with a turtle in it to release it later. Their dog Easy ran to Chul Min recognizing him but she still didn't. She heads back to her shop where her coworker tells her that a man with crutches came to buy night jasmine and took the turtle. She sees Easy barking and then starts to realize that man is Chul Min. She runs to search for him but all hope looks lost when she starts to cry since it looks like she lost him forever. But she does manage to find him at the place I believe he took her earlier in the film . She runs to him and looking at his face knowing it is Chul Min for the first time. They hug and happy end.
I gave this drama another chance it was alright. Mainly to watch for the ML and FL together. It was slow and it did take a while for them to start having more interactions together. I didn't enjoy the stories/characters of the hospice here as much as I did in " If you wish upon me". So yeah it felt slow and draggy to me until they started to focus on the ML and FL relationship. I say it was worth it to watch their story finish at the end. I think I like the actor of the ML now.
I dropped this midway. It felt slow and boring. I didn't like the chemistry and romance between the 2 leads. It was not for me. Can anyone spoil me to what happened to the ML's sister?
What happens to In Ha's inhuman evil b*tch mother at the end. please tell me she either goes to prison or dies.…
Thanks for letting me know. I stopped watching after episode 11. The revenge plot was the hook for me and to find that out, I'm glad I didn't continue.
