Oh, they're going to a little bit different route compared to what I thought. It seems like Jinu from Jackson was in Busan that day and went to a bar where Ji Young worked at I guess. There is no reveal yet on the mystery person who hit Ha Neul in the back or will there even be a reveal for that. Ok it actually seems like Ji Young schemes this all up that has gone in her way. She took a drunk Jinu to her cabin house who then fell on top of her. She was going to call or have the KTOP manager be informed where he would be forced to listen to her demands for the so called "SA". But Ha Neul showed up that day to ruin the plan kind of? I guess if he doesn't arrive there that day, she still blackmails the manager into accepting her into the group Twinkle and no police report? Maybe she had camera footage hidden in that house to blackmail them?
It seems like they aren't wrapping up this case until later on which kind of makes Jin Young the bitchy villain? We were fine with the KTOP higher ups betraying Suk Ho to make themselves as the main antagonist.
Yeah it wasn't too difficult to guess what happened from the crime scene where Ha Neul was framed after they revealed what happened. I'll give Suk Ho a pass because he isn't a detective but man it was kind of frustrating not being able to tell him through the screen of the reasons why KTOP would suddenly accept her in. Ha Neul's friend(girl) is Jin Young. They had a secret cabin house(ok?) they hang out. Both share a bond over music. He likes to sing and she wants to be a idol. One night when Ha Neul visited the house at night because he forgot his music player, he notice the door wasn't locked/broken. He goes inside to see his friend Ji Young being SA. Ha Neul tries to remove the guy off her but is hit in the back with a weapon from another dude which causes him to go unconscious. Hours later the police arrived because she called them. Behind the scene stuff probably happen and the KTOP director blackmailed Jin Young a position into their company if she didn't frame the actual criminals. Poor Ha Neul who was at the crime scene was the target they can frame instead even if he was her friend. She betrays her friendship.
I'm pretty sure that's what will be revealed. So Huk was struggling to figure out their motive for accepting her in but it's obvious. The actual criminals are trainees/idols at KTOP duh. Surprise, the guy who So Huk raised to become a idol Jin Woo is one of the criminals. Such a coincidence that Jin Young had dreams of being accepted there and becoming a idol or else she would just be a rookie with no knowledge of this.
Also funny how it's a coincidence that Ha Neul is the younger brother of Suk Ho's best friend who died. They reunited! Idk i kinda prefer if they didn't have a past connection.
I'm curious to see if the drama handles the situation of Ha Neul being labeled a sex offender now or later. He doesn't want to be in the band anymore knowing he will hurt the other members too because of his "criminal" history. The key to the case is that girl who falsely accused Ha Neul and coincidentally enough is a trainee at KTOP where the villains work for. Do they keep this mystery sub plot throughout the show or resolve it now. I prefer them to resolve it now instead of the predictable plot where the band gets popular and applause until the villains gets the media to bring up his past.
The FL Geu Rin is a little weird character. I figured her role should eventually be more important than the older sister struggling to manage the many parental roles for her younger brother. I thought is she just gonna join the band. it turns out she's gonna be the manager for her younger brother? Ok I guess.
wow 2 episodes watched and I really like it so far. I appreciate it that the ML has already have to undergo his character development as him being a jerk doesn't last long. I like when these shows add in the drama instead of going full blown comedy focus. also am enjoying Ji Sung's acting
The only thing I like from what I saw in this drama was Jung Kyung Ho's hairstyle. I guess his character too.…
Ok I'm giving this drama a chance again. I like the ML, his son, and maybe the FL. Episode 6 was pretty good. Kind of funny that the characters I have no interest/am annoyed are all of their friends.
Sooooo... is there a reason he couldn't have just left the ship with everyone else? That aside, I would watch a…
I think he needed time to dismantle the pressure trigger and by the time he did so they all left. Also some have mentioned that the president was still charging him of crimes so if he went back with her and them, he goes to prison.
Because it was a pressure-activated bomb like the one on the train in initial episodes.
I kind of want to know how would he then escape from the explosion assuming he dismantled the pressure trigger. Would he just jump into the ocean and swim away or were there still smaller boats left or am I reaching to a point where it's just too unrealistic to figure out
Wait really? Si On in the other universe survives? I thought she died on the spot from the killer which makes Jae Sang wake up from his coma? Unless them catching the killer in the original universe changed the outcome in the other?
The scene would make a little sense why they were at the hospital with the drawings again but with Bo Na. But from my view, I saw it as a time skip couple years with Bo Na already born and Si On is in the hospital again as they visit those drawings at that same spot again.
The leads had good Chemistry. FL is super adorable and cute , she suits this role much better than the one from…
There's a reason he wakes up from the coma in the original universe. His wife probably dies in front of him and the killer kills him next. Their daughter has no parents anymore and the killer/villains are living free. Just a dark world to live in.
I really hope season 2 does not flop hard that they can at least get Park Ji Hyun for a cameo in the last episode.…
The new FL in season 2 ends up being a plot twist villain at the end is something I didn't think of. Interesting. Oh now I got some ideas how they could end the season with a cliffhanger into season 3.
Ok even if they can't get back Park Ji Hyun(og FL) for a cameo in the finale, they could either: - have Ahn Bo Hyun's character I Su shown calling the og FL Lee Gang Hyun like he needs her help. Like they show him on his phone going through his contacts and there's her name or just show his phone receiving a call and it's from her. - we are shown from a view of the og FL returning home in the parents house hinting she is back. - similar to the one above but we are in the view of the og FL who just walked into the police station with all the cast there surprised/happy.
Yeah that would be so cool and hype if they had the new FL become the villain for a season 3 with the og FL returning.
Not as excited for season 2 as once was. Should have just waited a few months or however long it for the actressHopefully…
I really hope season 2 does not flop hard that they can at least get Park Ji Hyun for a cameo in the last episode. With her character returning at the end that hooks viewers into a potential season 3.
It would have been nice if in the other universe, some of the characters got a different look/personality compared to the original. Like what if Si On in the universe 2, had longer hair.
It's all over. 🥹As Yoon Pil Woo was on the run, he went to Si On's house and drugged her milk drink. He abducted…
For a drama I knew nothing about before and had no hype going into it, this drama won me over. I really love most is the blend of themes this drama had. It had the comedy, suspense, fantasy, drama, law, and romance. The ost was such a pleasant mood throughout the show. Good writing for the villains in this show. Just one thing I wish they added is in the epilogue, have Jae Sang just finishing a case as a prosecutor helping the victim showing how he's changed from a selfish corrupted lawyer to a honorable prosecutor. Then you can have the phone call of Si On collapsing happen. The drama was great. i loved the chemistry between the 2 leads. 10/10
It's all over. 🥹 As Yoon Pil Woo was on the run, he went to Si On's house and drugged her milk drink. He abducted her so he can kill her. It looks like he has nowhere to escape to start a new life, so he decided to kill someone he hates before ending his life. He goes to the hospital where his mom is to meet her for the last time before killing her. He brings Si On onto the rooftop of the hospital to kill her by his method with a hammer. She wakes up and uses a piece of glass nearby to cut the rope she is tied to from her hands. She does so and strikes him down. She attempts to run away but the side effects of the drug still occur and she falls down with less energy. He drags her back to then smash her with his hammer until the investigation team arrive. Pil Woo is shot from a gun as he was going to strike her in front of them. Pil Woo then resorts to walking backwards and falling off the rooftop. Jae Sang runs quickly towards him and catches one arm before he can fall. The other detective helps Jae Sang lift him up. Si On gets to arrest and put the handcuffs on him.
Si On and Jae Sang are walking in the park at night. He tells her it's time for him to disappear from her world as his task is completed as he promised. He reveals his task was not to arrest Pil Woo but to make Si On's life happier and at ease which he has done. Now Si On tells him not to leave her and confesses. She likes him even if he is a jerk and selfish. They hug and get together. Flash forward couple months gone by. We see what some of the cast from the investigation team are up to now. Then at home, Jae Sang is informed from a call that Si On has collapsed and is in the hospital. He finds her looking at family drawings there. She confesses to him that she's pregnant before being married. Sadly we don't get a proposal scene right there from Jae Sang. She mentions about having dreams of the north star(a special connection to Bo Na). Jae Sang realizes Bo Na is going to be born into this universe. They're both happy and hug. Years later in that same hospital/spot, we see Bo Na walking around the drawings with her parents. They're happily together again.
