The leads had good Chemistry. FL is super adorable and cute , she suits this role much better than the one from…
There's a reason he wakes up from the coma in the original universe. His wife probably dies in front of him and the killer kills him next. Their daughter has no parents anymore and the killer/villains are living free. Just a dark world to live in.
I really hope season 2 does not flop hard that they can at least get Park Ji Hyun for a cameo in the last episode.…
The new FL in season 2 ends up being a plot twist villain at the end is something I didn't think of. Interesting. Oh now I got some ideas how they could end the season with a cliffhanger into season 3.
Ok even if they can't get back Park Ji Hyun(og FL) for a cameo in the finale, they could either: - have Ahn Bo Hyun's character I Su shown calling the og FL Lee Gang Hyun like he needs her help. Like they show him on his phone going through his contacts and there's her name or just show his phone receiving a call and it's from her. - we are shown from a view of the og FL returning home in the parents house hinting she is back. - similar to the one above but we are in the view of the og FL who just walked into the police station with all the cast there surprised/happy.
Yeah that would be so cool and hype if they had the new FL become the villain for a season 3 with the og FL returning.
Not as excited for season 2 as once was. Should have just waited a few months or however long it for the actressHopefully…
I really hope season 2 does not flop hard that they can at least get Park Ji Hyun for a cameo in the last episode. With her character returning at the end that hooks viewers into a potential season 3.
It would have been nice if in the other universe, some of the characters got a different look/personality compared to the original. Like what if Si On in the universe 2, had longer hair.

For a drama I knew nothing about before and had no hype going into it, this drama won me over. I really love most is the blend of themes this drama had. It had the comedy, suspense, fantasy, drama, law, and romance. The ost was such a pleasant mood throughout the show. Good writing for the villains in this show. Just one thing I wish they added is in the epilogue, have Jae Sang just finishing a case as a prosecutor helping the victim showing how he's changed from a selfish corrupted lawyer to a honorable prosecutor. Then you can have the phone call of Si On collapsing happen. The drama was great. i loved the chemistry between the 2 leads. 10/10
It's all over. 🥹 As Yoon Pil Woo was on the run, he went to Si On's house and drugged her milk drink. He abducted her so he can kill her. It looks like he has nowhere to escape to start a new life, so he decided to kill someone he hates before ending his life. He goes to the hospital where his mom is to meet her for the last time before killing her. He brings Si On onto the rooftop of the hospital to kill her by his method with a hammer. She wakes up and uses a piece of glass nearby to cut the rope she is tied to from her hands. She does so and strikes him down. She attempts to run away but the side effects of the drug still occur and she falls down with less energy. He drags her back to then smash her with his hammer until the investigation team arrive. Pil Woo is shot from a gun as he was going to strike her in front of them. Pil Woo then resorts to walking backwards and falling off the rooftop. Jae Sang runs quickly towards him and catches one arm before he can fall. The other detective helps Jae Sang lift him up. Si On gets to arrest and put the handcuffs on him.
Si On and Jae Sang are walking in the park at night. He tells her it's time for him to disappear from her world as his task is completed as he promised. He reveals his task was not to arrest Pil Woo but to make Si On's life happier and at ease which he has done. Now Si On tells him not to leave her and confesses. She likes him even if he is a jerk and selfish. They hug and get together. Flash forward couple months gone by. We see what some of the cast from the investigation team are up to now. Then at home, Jae Sang is informed from a call that Si On has collapsed and is in the hospital. He finds her looking at family drawings there. She confesses to him that she's pregnant before being married. Sadly we don't get a proposal scene right there from Jae Sang. She mentions about having dreams of the north star(a special connection to Bo Na). Jae Sang realizes Bo Na is going to be born into this universe. They're both happy and hug. Years later in that same hospital/spot, we see Bo Na walking around the drawings with her parents. They're happily together again.
Once again, another nice plot twist there at the end. Although maybe you could see this one coming. Do Sik made a offer to Pil Woo's right hand man basically switching sides betraying Pil Woo. Pil Woo and his right hand man are at a place underneath couple bridges. It looks like he did so as Do Sik and his henchmen arrive to surround Pil Woo. They're about to kill Pil Woo until the plot twist is revealed. Those henchmen work for Pil Woo now and they hold onto Do Sik. Pil Woo injects a helpless Do Sik with some type of drug that probably kills him? Then the investigation team arrives to the scene. That's how the episode ends before the finale.
I don't do this often but I'm gonna share my thoughts and recap of the first half aka ep 29 at the end. Saving the best for last.
Continuing from the last episode, Jae Sang is being suffocated to death with his head trapped in a plastic bag. It's then mentioned he only has 6 minutes before he dies. Pil Woo informs he has sent a delivery driver to the office to witness the dead Jae Sang. Do Sik has to make a decision in 6 minutes. So we got the longest 6 minutes possible 😂. The investigation team is able to find out where Jae Sang has been abducted and arrived there. They fight off Pil Woo's thugs. Couple of the officers make their way into the room where Jae Sang has the bag trapped over his head still. Si On desperately fights off the thugs so she can save Jae Sung. She throws a chair to break the glass door and in time removes the plastic bag off of Jae Sang.
The soundtrack playing in the background as Si On is desperate to save Jae Sang and Jae Sang trying to live on was lovely. A lot of emotions were coming through this moment.
Just a thought since the bad guys talk about family, but I dont think they've mentioned if our ML and FL have family members 😆. Si On did have her "brother" from the orphanage. Maybe she was a orphan growing up that I forgot. But like Jae Sang was in a coma for awhile, and they don't contacted his family? Maybe he doesn't have any?
The finale is next. I hope no beloved characters die. I hope they are able to arrest Pil Woo. I hope the team doesn't disband. Maybe Jae Sang can propose to Si On.
It's the same day happening in our universe 1 where Si On is receiving a reward but she died at the end of the night. Jae Sang worries the same fate will happen to her, he makes sure she is somewhere safe away from danger. But Jae Sang is abducted into a office owned by Do Sik. He is surrounded by Pil Woo's henchmen as they put a plastic bag around his head to kill him. They live stream this as Pil Woo shows it on his phone to Do Sik to threaten him. He threatens his men will kill Jae Sang in that office where some tenants will arrive to a shock seeing a dead body thus ruining Do Sik's honor or Pil Woo is granted the CEO spot which his men will dispose of Jae Sang's dead body somewhere.
I have to say this Pil Woo freak has outdone Do Sik as a villain. It's a bit freaky seeing the assumed villain be outclassed by a even better psycho.
Before this, I thought maybe they would recreate a similar situation in universe 1 where Jae Sang and Si On are on the verge of dying but this time Jae Sang is able to save his love this time? They still could in the finale I guess but Jae Sang wanted to take the damage on this day instead.
They're gonna have the longest week ever stretched into the last 3 episodes 😂 since that's their deadline to solve the case before the team dismantles and Jae Sang's life is ruined. At least they all are finally working as a team with no one left out.
I must say this drama has delivered in those gloomy hopeless moments. It's much more deeper than you would expect to be. I like that they kept around of the victims that Jae Sang ruined their life. It's the guy who protected a woman from being sa but Jae Sang brought up the guy's father debt problem when they were settling on the money. Jae Sang has a lot to atone for his past wickedness on this man and Ms. Jang's son.
Jae Sang underwent hypnosis to remember details of who this killer is from the last moments in universe 2. The more they force me to watch those last moments of him in universe 2, the more I realize how cruel and sadistic torture it was to our MC. He was tied up sitting across his wife who was tied up defenseless. The killer brings out his weapon a hammer. The killer forces our MC Jae Sang watch begging and screaming for them to not do it. He was helplessly forced to watch his wife die in front of him.
Wow. The plot twist at the end was surprising and I'm stunned. The ceo Yoon Pil Woo was said to be Jang Do Sik's…
They just keep adding more guilt for Jae Sang to suffer. He approved and asked Ms. Jang to go on this dangerous mission to retrieve the murder weapon. There was a 3rd party he wasn't aware of and she lost her life. He's gonna receive an earful from his team especially Si On. ðŸ˜
Wow. The plot twist at the end was surprising and I'm stunned. The ceo Yoon Pil Woo was said to be Jang Do Sik's "son" but it's revealed he is his illegitimate son of the lady who is unconscious in the hospital. Not only that but the hammer inside the safe of Do Sik's safe was not even Do Sik's, it was Pil Woo's murder weapon. We then are shown seeing him hit his mother who had abused him when he was younger with a hammer. She's not dead tho.
Backing up a bit, Ms. Jang(wife of Jang Do Sik) agreed to help prosecutor Jae Sang in exchange for the safety of her and her son's lives(they've been abused by Do Sik). She goes to his office and opens up his safe to retrieve what she thought was Do Sik's murder weapon. Yoon Pil Woo had been spying on her which led to him threatening her with her son's safety. She met up with Pil Woo with the hammer that was Pil Woo's murder weapon. I guess Do Sik knows that is Pil Woo's murder weapon in the safe because what if he randomly opens it up to find it there. Pil Woo slowly walks towards Ms. Jang with the hammer. He sees resemblance of his mother in Ms. Jang and then he swings the hammer at her over and over again killing her.
Do Sik is informed of his wife's death. He rushes to Pil Woo's office to see a bloodied Pil Woo saying he protected his father. The main villain Do Sik was stunned. Has Pil Woo overtaken Do Sik as the new main villain?
I have to mention that I hope they especially Jae Sang is smarter in universe 1.
Yeah I'm loving this new Jae Sang. He left his fancy apartment to live next door to Si On. He throws a party with the neighbors and is so energetic 😂. He remembers the sea pancakes Si On makes and tastes the huge amount of salt she puts in them 🥹. I admire him being this funny nice cheerful guy to the team so they can trust him. I like how he bought her essential items in the house that will help her lifestyle. The moments of Jae Sang looking at places where he has memories of in universe 2 are so emotional. He's trying to fight back the tears in his eyes like thinking of Bo Na and when he would drop her off to daycare.
So it looks like in the original universe, it's gonna start how I thought his life in the other universe would be. Jae Sang is now the prosecutor of the detective team basically what it was in universe 2 but he and Si On aren't together as a couple. So this time we see the build to their love. Jae Sang has so many regrets in the original universe. I'm very glad he choose to quit as a lawyer at that place and smack talk the villain in front of his face before he quit. I'm relieved they didn't just go in a route where he stays but gets every information he can from Do Shik to arrest him.
So yeah, the big dislike will be the love triangle in this universe(I want universe 2 back to avoid this). All the horrible things Jae Sang did to previous people he has to live with. I know he was such a jerk in universe 1 but before he got into the car crash, it seemed like he wanted to change with the words he said to Si On on the phone. Couldn't she had at least been less hateful to him when he woke up. They could have briefly mentioned off screen that his evidence or something helped Si On arrest the villains of the week in the first case.
What I am most excited for this new direction of the drama is how Jae Sang redeems himself as a person to the world and to Si On. It's gonna be lots of effort to win the hearts of people for the reputation he had. How the 2 leads will fall for each other should be fun. I kind of wish this drama got the 20 episode treatment 😆
