The only work I know that is upcoming for him, at least for what has been announced, is the second season of 'Beef' the American drama that he was going to guest star in but I think that just recently finished filming like a month ago. I guess he agreed to a different work that hasn't been announced yet because he got casted for this in September of last year and maybe filming took to long for this one or they were gonna overlap with each other?

Filming schedule has been delayed and will have take 2-3 months to reorganize.

Song Kang Ho was supposed to play Lee Gang Hui but he has dropped out, and the production team is looking for another actor.

The production company Hive Media Corp said, "'Insiders' was originally divided into seasons 1 and 2, but we are reorganizing it to go all in at once as a 12-episode series. The filming schedule has become longer as it has become a 12-episode series, and Song Kang Ho has decided to leave due to his schedule for his next work."
