Wow... everything is happening all at once it seems like. This week has been quite explosive in the land of The First Man! Not only did the twins successfully reveal themselves (I was expecting a delay or distraction of sorts) but Sukhee is starting to remember as well. Sukhee revenge glow up incoming?
If anyone truly believes Junho is actually in love with Jangmi I have a bridge to sell you. I actually like Junho (yes, really) so I'll be glad that tomorrow he's doing something else besides obsessing over Jangmi. Now I feel like Secretary Kang is his dad, it was foreshadowed a while back but I'll be VERY surprised if it's not him. Despite my (very strong) dislike of Junho's one sided love of Jangmi, it's actually going to come in handy here... Because Hwayoung can't outright kill her now lol.

Sidenote: technology is truly amazing lol it's crazy to think Eunjung is basically talking to herself. But one thing is for sure, any future daily drama that involves identical twins will have big shoes to fill! No more allowing the long lost twins to meet once and killing off one of them!!! lol
So what's next in terms of subplots? We have: - Baekho's parentage reveal - Junho's father reveal - Sukhee's revenge πππ (I think chairman ma is going to have her & Jangmi move into the house at some point... you know in dailies everyone eventually ends up living with each other anyway lol) - Dongseok coming back? (I don't think he's actually dead tbh....) - the case of the missing "lipstick" - Hongju actually doing something of note? - Nambong somehow stops evading karma and faces consequences for his behavior - and of course, the battle of who ends up owning Dream.
I gotta give it to Seo Hyunjoo... my beef with her aside, this may be the best drama I've seen of hers... so far...

Yeonhee has grown on me A LOT and I enjoy watching her fight back against Yuna and Junho! The kitchen scene was iconic... and she had no power then. Just wait until she acquires the power to make them miserable. (This makes me want to watch Cheongdam Scandal since Choi Jungyoon is also the FL lol)
I feel slightly more benevolent towards Jaekyung now especially seeing the lengths he's willing to go for Haneul. Speaking of Haneul I am about to hit that part of the drama where he learns that Junho is his "father" ... Yuna is so wrong for lying like this ...
Still can't stand Yoonchul (the male neighbor) HOWEVER Minjung (the female neighbor) grew on me... I loved how she confronted Yuna and even called the cops on herself preemptively π€£ anyway I knew she was real AF when she took her earrings off and tied her hair back upon seeing Yuna! Hyejin and Mingoo are So Not Here for Yuna and Junho and it's entertaining watching their friendship with Junho implode in real time. I actually loved how Mingoo didn't cosign the way Junho powertripped on Yeonhee.
As for Yuna it's extremely obvious that she only married Junho for access to Lala Group. Junho is so dumb he doesn't even realize smh. I did laugh at the fashion department employees calling Yuna "Miranda" as in the boss from The Devil Wears Prada. Because I've seen SO many dailies and this is the first time I've seen the "team leader" 2FL act like a boss from hell lol. Because while 2FLs are usually villains they usually don't abuse their subordinates....
Tbh I'm not surprised that the actress playing Seowoo has only acted in one thing since this drama ended ... her actress is very fond of making her eyes big anytime she conveys a strong emotion. I swear she only has one expression. So I don't think she can act well HOWEVER I do appreciate Seowoo's loyalty to Yeonhee.
I could care less about the doctor and whatever BL storyline they're trying to do with him.... However he's just as bad as an actor as the actress playing Seowoo... so I guess the PD got that casting right.

I think she was upset ... until Jangmi revealed Junho is actually Hwayoung's son. I think the twins will probably reconcile or at least end up on the same page where they decide to reveal themselves as twins tomorrow!
FINALLY... Seorin shooters STAND UP!! She woke up on some Kill Bill shit (her self-rehabiliation reminded me of The Bride after she woke up from her coma) and crashed that wedding. As she should!

Finding old dailies to watch (from legit sources) is a total crapshoot. Amazon prime video has Ice Adonis (!!!) but that's the only daily they have. KOCOWA is probably our best bet... The last daily they uploaded was the iconic Princess Aurora. So SOMEONE who works for them has an interest in older dailies

Had a feeling this was going to be extended because of the snails pace of everything despite it being (what we thought) was the "final hour" - aka what should be the most interesting part of the daily.
I guess they did it because of the number of people watching on KOCOWA and similar services. (Which doesn't mean anything, The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun was #1 on KOCOWA when it aired and that's widely regarded to be the worst MBC daily of all time π) Meanwhile for cable ratings for this drama can't get into the 6% range... highest rating is 5.9%. Now the drama is slated to end on 7/3/26. For those in the US I will absolutely be shooting fireworks on the 4th to celebrate my independence from this hot mess of a drama π€£

FL is played by Han Goeun and Park Seyoung was casted in it 2 days ago.. she will be playing Han Goeun's daughter. It'll be written by Park Jihyun who also wrote "Person Who Gives Happiness". There's no details about the premise yet.... but if I had to guess family drama will be a big part of the story lol
